Zohaifa attempted to finish this dual, his eyes showing determination and savagery. The absorpian got up quickly and picked up her stance, ready to face Zohaifa.
But all on a sudden, the glow from her pulsated faster and brighter. She held her stomach tight and produced a slight moan. Zohaifa stopped his procession, slightly confused.
She struggled to gather strength for standing up but suddely another series of pulsation occured. The vibration of her body showed her pain. Her legs could not support her anymore. She started moaning. But she still tried to crawl up.
Another series of pulsation yet again. She began to scream now. The way she scratched the dirts and twist her feet showed the unbearable pain she must be in. Tears continued to flow through her eyeballs. She pounded the ground while crying and shouting. Even the man with the toughest heart would feel pity for her. And Zohaifa was certainly not the toughest.
"What should I do?" Zohaifa was lost in thinking, "I came here to defeat her but now I feel sympathy. Even I am wishing I could do something to stop this. What's causing all these pains?"
Zohaifa thought, he can leave her for now and think about his actions later. That is when she stood unnaturally erect with her mouth wide open and faced towards the sky.
Bwah!
She made a sound as if she wants to vomit. The contraction of her gut was visible. Her eyes were half open with no pupil, showing semi-consciousness. Yet another sign of pain. The mouth opened abnormally wide. A figure appeared from it. Its parts weren't distinct as it was covered by light.
"Dammit. She was giving birth!" exclaimed Zohaifa.
When the figure finally crawled out, the angelic radiance disappeared. She observed the environemnt, quite annoyed, trying to read the situation. Zohaifa stared at her in awe of this delivering process. She looked exactly like a duplicate of her parent. It seems more like cloning than a reproduction. Every part of the child looks the same as the parent, inch by inch.
However, fortunately and unfortunately, she even has all the injuries that her mother had, in the same places too. "What happened to me? Why are there so much bruises?" she demanded to know.
"That boy, over there, tortured your mother. That caused you to be born with damage," her mom answered as she stood up.
She shifted her gaze towards Zohaifa. He noticed the frightening presence the baby absorpian exerted.
"Go! Take vengeance on behalf of your mom," the mother absorpian commanded proudly.
"Why?" She asked "Why do I care what happens to you? I will take revenge because of my injury."
"Oh, dear!" her mom spoke while sweating, "You just took birth so it's hard for you to understand how the world works. Don't you love me?" Saying that, she sought to extend her hands to caress her cheek.
But the child slapped her hands and threw an unbelievably powerful uppercut at her gut, throwing her mother far off from the battlefield. "You can't tell me what to do."
She again turned her gaze towards Zohaifa with hostility.
Zohaifa felt intimidation the moment she gazed upon Zohaifa, wishing that she might ignore him considering she is still literally a newborn.
"So, you are the one who injured me," she noted.
Zohaifa understood that a battle cannot be avoided. Thus, he picked up his fighting stance, hoping for the best. By the moment Zohaifa noticed her attempt to attack was the moment she covered up all the distance between her and Zohaifa.
Pow!
Zohaifa was sent rolling on the sky. Before he realized it, she gripped his foot mid-air.
"Such speed! I don't have any possibility of running."
She threw Zohaifa crushing to the ground. Zohaifa could feel his spine being broken. He tried to arise.
"I can't stand straight anymore!"
The absorpian is in front of him before he could even detect.
In a single flash, an uncountable number of punches hit his stomach. His eyes extended wide in pain. He fell on his knees, unable to breathe properly, a gush of blood vomited out.
She held Zohaifa up by his hair and looked into his frightened eyes. She punched Zohaifa's already bleeding face, throwing him 20 meters away to a mountain.
Zohaifa gradually closed his eyes with his back dug into the mountains.
With dizziness, he spoke to himself, "If there is an almighty guarding this universe, please help me. Cause I am in a position where nothing I do matters."
He could see the absorpian walking towards him. He gradually drifted to unconsciousness.
Zohiafa woke up from the concussion.
"Something feels familiar," thought Zohaifa.
He couldn’t see anything, darkness is overwhelming everywhere. Suddenly a feint light appeared on a distance.
Zohaifa slowly walked that way. But when he reached, the light disappeared. He looked here and there in search of that light. Then he could notice that light from his chest.
That is when he woke up.
“That dream again!” complained Zohaifa while pressing his palm on his forehead. “Ouch, my head hurts.”
Then he slowly observed the environment. He was in a camping tent. Sunlight outside only proved how dark the interior was. He also took notice of his condition. All the blood from his body has been cleaned. He is bandaged all over.
"What am I doing here?" asked Zohaifa to himself in confusion, "How am I here?"
He knew he had to get up and explore for safety. But after all that he had been through, he naturally felt lazy. Suddenly he heard someone coming this way.
"Why is this happening again? Am I in a never-ending cycle," Zohaifa mumbled to himself, "In that case, I will just do something different this time."
The boy who was considered to be killed by the absorpian came inside.
"You are alive!" exclaimed Zohaifa.
"You thought I would die so easily? Lo-and-behold, I am a gag character," he smiled.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"I contacted the author. We agreed that I can become a gag character. The bright side is that I am unkillable and I will stand a chance no matter whom I fight with. It's like being a bourgeois in a fantasy. But the downside being I cannot have any major influence in the story."
"That makes no sense, but you seem to be a cool guy. What is your name?" asked Zohaifa.
"I am Red-1."
"Red-1? That's a weird name," said Zohaifa, "But does that mean there are more of the Reds."
"I wanted more of my brothers so I chose this name. But the author didn't agree."
"Can you drop the author stuff? It makes no sense."
"Okay. So, let's go out, the people of the town want to see you."
"No, wait. I have two questions."
"Shoot."
