Two vs Hundreds

The person stood up, rubbing his head. “Ouch! That hurts,” he said. “Surprised? I just shot lightning,” said Zohaifa. “And?” “It’s not from any weapon! My bare hands.” “So?” “Aren’t you surprised at all?” “Have seen enough of those.” Zohaifa’s pupil dilated at hearing those words. “There are more like me? Can I know my answers from them then?” Zohaifa thought. The person jumped towards Zohaifa but was countered by a ‘Lightning shooter.’ He used his blade to redirect the path of the lightning as metals have higher conductivity. “Caught ya,” he said as he was about to fall with a downward s***h but Zohaifa side kicked upwards and thus using the person’s weight against him. He fell to the ground again and stared at Zohaifa in shock. “Lightning isn’t the only thing I got, remember?” said Zohaifa. He remained silent and just smiled before getting up to his feet and saying, “Don’t worry. I am just getting started too.” And that was the moment Zohaifa lost his consciousness. Upon waking, all he saw was the grassy environment moving away from him and all he felt was friction in his back. After things got less hazy, he realized he was being dragged. “Was it the person he was fighting? Did he win?” thought Zohaifa, whose thinking was still distorted.  He then saw that the person he fought was also being dragged right next to him. He had wounds that weren’t there during the last fight. “What happened?” he thought. When his mind cleared up, he realized that a seven and a half foot humanoid beast was carrying both of them. Its skin was the color of peeled mango and his muscles could remind one of mountains. Just at that moment the first alien guy slowly opened his eyes and noticed Zohaifa. He shook his head and whispered, “Get ready to attack.” Then he started a countdown with his fingers. As he was about to move to one…. “Stop!” shouted Zohaifa, making the beast aware of their conscious. The alien guy dug his blades into the beast’s arm, creating an opportunity for them to escape his clinch. But they can’t run. “Why did you warn him?” annoyingly asked the alien guy. “I get nervous with countdown,” said Zohaifa The alien guy stared at him in a flustered, confused face while Zabir and Giasuddin joined him from the other side of the screen with a facepalm. “Whatever. Get ready to rumble,” he said. An intense collaboration began between Zohaifa and his new ally. The beast threw a downward punch which Zohaifa evaded through a back step and his ally by a jump. The ground was smashed when the beast’s fist slammed down. “Damn, we are so doomed if any of his punch ends up connecting,” said Zohaifa. The person tried to land on the beast’s shoulder, but the beast blocked him with a forearm block. But he slashed the beast’s forearm before bouncing back. At the same time, Zohaifa dashed and punched the beast in the solar plexus. Thus Zohaifa and his ally had some risky exchanges with the beast as they both attacked it from different directions and angles while barely evading its attacks. When the beast finally dropped on the ground, Zohaifa’s ally stepped on the beast with one foot and made a glorious victory pose. “Excuse me.” said Zohiafa with a very nervous voice, “There is still a spaceship full of them left.” He directed his finger at the spaceship they didn’t notice in front of them the whole time. Zohaifa and his new ally stared at the hundreds of beasts in the spaceship as Zohaifa trembled in fear. His face turned pale as he stared at the thousands of beasts throwing angry eyes at him. “Ready?” asked the new ally.  Zohaifa paused for a moment to stare at him in surprise. Then he responded, “Are you crazy? They totally outnumbered us. It took us so much effort just to defeat one of them.” “Can you defeat only ten more?” he asked. “Maybe, but it is very implausible,” Zohaifa replied. “How about one more?” he asked again. “Yes, that would be both plausible and possible with little more effort,” Zohaifa answered. “Then let’s do it.” Zohaifa was in for another shock. “Is he crazy!” exclaimed Zabir. “He is,” said Zohaifa blankly. “What are you going to do?” Giasuddin asked. “I don’t know,” he replied. But at the moment, Zohaifa wasn’t courageous enough to make his own decision. So, he went with the alien’s decision and started rushing towards the battlefield without a word. Zabir facepalmed and said, “Why am I not surprised?” Zohaifa and his new ally rushed onto the battlefield, determined to not go down without a fight. Zohaifa rained down punches and the alien swung around his claws. They got separated as the attacks from the aliens from different directions showered upon them. ‘Lightning burst!’ Lightning wildly erupted from Zohaifa’s body as the beasts around him were shocked and paralyzed. But more beasts moved in to reach Zohaifa. Zohaifa repeatedly used ‘Lightning burst’ in desperation. But the lightning worked better for holding them back than defeating them. On the other hand, his ally kept his cool and tried fighting as technically as he could, showing his experience in fighting multiple opponents. He targeted the vital spots of the beasts. Needless to say, they could not win. The battle ended with them both dropping to concussion. But they still defeated 30 of them where defeating 10 of them sounded impossible. The communicator that connected Zohiafa with Giasuddin, attached to Zohaifa’s suit, was destroyed during the battle. “What are we supposed to do now?” shouted Zabir, while staring at Giasuddin as if it was entirely his fault. “No worries. We can still track them down. I can control the spaceship from here,” said Giasuddin. “Then why did you send him in the first place?” said Zabir, as he loses his common sense because of anger. “The spaceship is not enough to investigate. I need a living human’s help,” Giasuddin replied. “Your living human is about to be dead!” he shouted. “Calm down. Let’s search at the solution instead of looking at the fault,” Giasuddin replied. Thus, the spaceship launched remotely controlled from their lab burdened with great hopes.
