15. Come out

Kilian POV:

I stayed on the training ground and let Katy deal with Seth, with any luck I would see him fly out the 5th floor window any minute now. After 15 minutes I saw Seth walking down the stairs and coming up to the training ground. He didn’t look at all happy and I couldn’t help but feel proud of my little sister.

“Looks like the whole Castor family hates me now” Seth said as he walked past me and started sparring with one of the pups.

“Marble Pack” I got everyone’s attention after using my Alpha voice, “SHIFT NOW!... I need you to know how to rip someone’s spine out, Daughters you will not expose your backs, Marble Pack your target is to TAP on the Daughters spine… there will be no bloodshed today… Daughters! Protect your backs!”. They all looked at me but did what I asked them to do, I took my shirt and joggers off, I didn’t want to rip them, others followed. My soldiers needed to how to fight and their wolves had to be just as strong.

Clothes were being ripped all over the training ground and immediately the Daughters came together in a circle, back-to-back, they didn’t need to be told. The Daughters had impeccable speed, every time a wolf jumped to attack a Daughter, she would dodge the advancement.  They pulled out knifes and chucked them on the floor, they were dipped in wolfbane and we had to dodge them.

“I’m out” Georgia said.

“Me too” Lily followed.

This is what was needed to raise morale, the pack was getting the upper hand. Suddenly, Poppy jumped on the back.

 “You’d be stabbed… you’re out” f**k Poppy was quick.  I shifted back and put my clothes back on, the scene that was unfolding in front of me was immense. Each wolf had a target and each Daughter was fighting or her “life”. Felicity was showing her true beauty, she was grunting and punching wolves, then I noticed something she did before. She ran towards a tree and ran up, flipped behind the wolf that was chasing her making him hit the tree, knocking himself out. When she landed, she looked at me with desperation in her eyes.

I stood up and wanted to walk over but I couldn’t, Rule Number 3, I couldn’t treat her any different to everyone else. I saw a speck of blood on her finger, on all her fingers, her hands and ears were bleeding. She was in pain but she didn’t stop, she kept on fighting.

MATE IS HURT!

I know, I need to help her something is wrong.

Kilian you need to save her.

Save her? Save her from who?

Save her from Estrid!

“ENOUGH!!!” I had to stop the fight now.

Felicity POV:

When Kilian told everyone to shift, I felt butterflies in my stomach. I was ready for this, I wanted to practice my moves on wolves and it is better knowing they’re not out to kill me. When we were surrounded by them, I was hit with the biggest wave of pain I have ever felt. I didn’t want to scream in front of my sisters, I had to battle through this. As the challenge continued, my skin started to itch, and my vision started to get blurry.

Let me help you.

Estrid?

Let me come out, I can help you.

Leave me alone, I can do it.

We share one mind; you need to let me out.

I DON’T KNOW HOW!

Ears started ringing and my fingers started to elongate, Estrid tried to come out on her own accord and for the first time in my life … I needed Kilian.  He was standing on the side of the training ground looking at me. I realised why I used to get headaches around wolves, their presence would slowly wake Estrid up.

“ENOUGH! morning session is finished, go and get some lunch”, I heard him shout, did he hear me? I was about to faint and I couldn’t be the weakest Daughter, I ran to the forest behind the training ground, hoping that no-one saw me.  I ran without stopping, Estrid was transferring her power into my legs, jumping over branches and tree trunks.

“Felicity!” I heard someone call after me but I had to get away from the wolves, from that smell.

Kilian POV:

I saw her walking into the forest, slipping out of everyone’s view and I had to follow her, something wasn’t right, she was in pain and I could feel it. I kept about 20 meters behind her, she was disorientated and I didn’t want to add to her confusion. Unexpectedly she picked up her pace, slowly running and then full-on sprinting, she was getting away from me.

“Felicity!” I called after her “Felicity! Slow down” she wasn’t registering what I was shouting. I could barely see her now, I started sprinting trying to catch up with her. Jumping over branches as my breathing got faster.

“FELICITY STOP!” I had to use my Alpha voice, she slowed down, stopping in a clearing in the middle of the forest. I grew up in Marble and I knew this forest like the back of my hand but she led me to a new place, I knew we were near the waterfall as I heard the crash of the water but I had no idea how to get there.

“Felicity please turn around” I instructed, slowly approaching, as she turned around,

I saw the blood and tears that were mixed rolling down her cheek. “Ohh darling what happened?” she didn’t say anything she just looked at me terrified.

“Please… help me” she held her hands out.

 This was a side of Felicity I never experienced before, even when Brooke died, she was distraught but she was ready to kill. Now, she just needed help. I took her hand in mine and approached her, when I was close enough, she buried her head in my chest.

“I can’t control my body, Estrid wants to come out but I don’t know what to do” was its fear or disgust I heard in her voice, either way I was going to be there for my mate.

“Follow me” I hugged her tighter and I grabbed her hand. Her palms were wet from the sweat of running mixed with blood from her fingertips. I followed the sound of the crashing water of the waterfall for five minutes, we finally got there and it was quiet. The water was peaceful and the only thing moving on the scene was the waterfall. As we made our way down to the water pool at the bottom, Felicity held my hand tighter, last time she was here she heard Estrid for the first time.  When we got to the bottom I turned around and faced her.

“Felicity I know this is going to sound weird but I need you to take your clothes off” there was no response she let go of my hand and tried to cover her body with her hands. “If you shift into Estrid with your clothes on, she will rip them and then how are you expecting to walk back into the Estate? Naked as a baby?” she knew I was right. “Just take your shirt and yoga pants off, you can put them back after you shift back”.

She started to take them off and I turned around, I wanted to give her some privacy, she went through so much already she didn’t want to be eyed up by a man.

 “Now what?” she asked as I turned around, she held her arms around her waist and chest, covering herself up again.

“Well first, you need to stop trying to cover yourself up… you will never need to do that around me” I walked up to her and put my hands on her shoulders, “are you sure you want to bring Estrid out?”  I asked.

“Yes… I’m sure” she said softly.

“Okay grab my hand” I led her to the water and stopped when it got to her waist. “Okay, the first shift is always painful, most of your bones will break and dislocate, don’t worry it’s only for a few moments. The temperature of the lake should calm your body down a little bit. There always has to be a stimulus to bring your wolf out” I said calmy not to frighten her.

“How did Bane come out for the first time?”

“One thing that annoys Bane is disrespect, I was tied up and Seth came up to started beating me” she smirked and I knew she could imagine beating me up.

“Well, you are the one that annoys me the most” she lifted her head up and looked me in the eyes.

“You mean I turn you on” I got closer to and put my hands on her hips. “Come on Estrid, I’m waiting” as I whispered it into her ear, I could fell the water vibrating around us. It was working!

I pulled Felicity even closer and looked her in the eyes, “I know what will really annoy you” she lifted her eyebrow “I need to break a few rules … darling”. I started to kiss her neck passionately, just around her marking spot, licking the skin around it. She let out a soft moan, she was enjoying it and she hated to admit it. “You’re mine darling! No one else has you! Just me! You belong to me!” She pushed me back and her eyes were now black, this was Estrid.

“COME ONE ESTRID, SHOW YOURSELF!” I roared at her and I heard a few bones break. The sight was hurtful, the woman that was my mate was in pain. She has not prepared for this, normal wolves spend the first 18 years of their life learning about techniques, breathing methods and stimuli for this event. Felicity found out she has a wolf couple of days ago and now she was shifting.

“KILAIN HELP!” Felicity was back and lying on her back in the water. Estrid was not strong enough to come out, she needed a lot more encouragement.

I quickly took my top and shorts off and brought Bane out. My hands and feet turned to paws and his black eyes took over. At the sight of Bane, Felicity’s eyes turned back.  Bane howled and roared at her, she had to obey.

More bones and sockets broke and next thing I knew, a black wolf laid on the ground by the pool whimpering. Bane nudged her with his nose, making her come to. As Estrid tried to stand she fell a few times, her legs were still weak. Her eyes were still black and she looked confused. When she stood, she nearly matched Bane’s height. This was strange, the Alpha was typically the biggest wolf in the pack followed by the other males. Estrid was a female and she didn’t belong to a pack and yet she still matched his height. She was a well-toned wolf with shiny black fur, some of it was still wet from the pool. Estrid approached Bane and purred into his fur, I could tell she was finally happy to be out.

Bane I’m going to leave you to it, just please don’t tire her out on her first shift.

Don’t worry Kilian I will just show her around the forest.

That’s fine, we still have to get back to the Estate after you shift back to me and they only have a lunch hour so they will know something is up if we are not there.
