Brielle’s POV The room fell still again, but the air had changed. Fiona’s hand trembled as she pulled away from Gregory’s, her eyes darting toward Brielle, who stood frozen at the foot of the bed. “You heard that, didn’t you?” Brielle asked, voice tight, low. “What does he mean, I need to know?” Fiona opened her mouth. Closed it.
