Brielle’s POV Fiona’s eyes fluttered open, her fingers curling weakly around Brielle’s hand. “Mama,” Brielle whispered, the word cracking in her throat. “You’re safe. I’m here.” Fiona blinked slowly. Her lips moved. “Gregory...” The door opened, and Gregory stepped in, his eyes wide with relief. He rushed to Fiona’s side, taking her other hand. “You’re awake,” he breathed. “Thank God...
