The Outbreak

intro

Austin wakes up in his room next to his partner. "Good morning babe, i hope you slept well."

Jacob replies "Yes i did. Especially after last night. *Giggles*

Austin: i know, it was pretty fun wasn't it?

Jacob: so what do you want to do today?

Austin: Maybe go to the park, and relax and feel the sun on my face.

Jacob: that sounds nice

The couple drives off to the park together in a convertible, hair drifting in the wind, both of them listening and singing to pop music on the way there.

Jacob: "ooh babe this is my song, turn it up!"

*Austin turns up the volume and smiles at him*

*Jacob puts his hand on Austin's leg* "This is so fun! i love it!"

Austin replies "me too babe, me too".

They arrive at the park, seeing people laughing, children playing, and couples talking to each other.

They get out of the car, holding hands.

Jacob says "I really miss doing this with you.

Austin replies "me too honey. I'm glad we are spending time together."

The two start to walk and hold hands, smiling at each other, as everyone's phones in the park starts going off. A text appears on their phones. It says "This is the Emergency Alert System. This is not a test. A Nuclear Missile capable of destroying the entire city is headed towards Los Angeles. The missle is to impact within 72 hours. Seek Shelter/Evacuate immediately. Repeat this is not a test."

Jacob and Austin look at each other with intense fear not knowing what to do.

Jacob turns to Austin hugging him saying "babe I'm scared I don't wanna die!"

Austin says to him calmly "it'll be okay baby, we're not gonna die. We're gonna evacuate.
