The corner of Adrian’s lips quivered in a roguish smirk. My throat went dry, as I struggled to peel my gaze from his perfectly carved abs.

“You like what you see?” He quipped, his voice seething with sarcasm.
I scrunched my nose at him, hoping the colour on my cheeks didn’t give any hint to the embarrassment that clouded me. “Huh?”
He groaned, and continued. “Ladies go crazy, and literally drool when I go shirtless,” he paused, inched closer to me, and crouched right in front of me.
