A YEAR LATER
My eyes rack over every part of her flesh until I meet her eyes.
She looked like a goddess.
"Are you done checking me out," Lena said, making me grin like a cheshire cat.
I look back at her and move toward her. "Never," I said, closing the gap between us. I place my finger under her chin, making sure I have her undivided attention. "I will never be done checking you out or done with you either."
Lena grinned, went on her tippy toes, placed her lips on mine, and pulled back. I felt Lena turn and face the window. Our room has a spectacular view of all that Italy offers. "I love this place," Lena whispered, leaning back on me. I wrapped my arms tightly around her and kissed her head. "Same here."
