Today dragged, but I was waiting for Claudia to come back down. I knew Gage had seen her, but Claudia kicked him out.
Leaning back in my chair, I sighed as the office door opened. I looked to see Gage and Claudia walking in. I moved up and stared at her.
“Well?” I asked.
Claudia smiled.
“She’s okay,” she said. “She is asleep now. But I also fed her. I will see her tomorrow and tell you more. I didn’t want to overload her with too much information.”
I nodded, but I moved my head to the side. “What did you tell her?” I asked, feeling slightly concerned.
