Chapter 4- Hidden enemies

Days turned into weeks, and Elara’s bond with the triplets deepened. Her powers grew stronger, guided by the knowledge in her grandmother’s journal and the support of the pack. But the peace was fragile, and a sense of impending danger lingered in the air.

One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Elara felt a sudden chill. She was in the study, poring over ancient texts, when a dark mist began to seep through the cracks in the walls. Her heart raced as the shadows coalesced into a figure – a man with cold, piercing eyes and an aura of malevolence.

“Who are you?” Elara demanded, her voice steady despite the fear gnawing at her.

The man smirked. “I am Draven, and I have come for you, little witch.”

Before she could react, Liam, Aiden, and Caden burst into the room, their eyes glowing with the power of their wolf forms. They placed themselves between Elara and the intruder, their growls filling the room.

Draven laughed, a sound that sent shivers down Elara’s spine. “You think you can protect her from me? She is mine by right.”

Liam’s voice was a low rumble. “She belongs to no one but herself. Leave now, or face the consequences.”

Draven’s eyes flashed with anger, but he took a step back. “This isn’t over. I will return, and when I do, she will be mine.”

With that, the dark mist swirled around him, and he vanished, leaving the room in eerie silence.

Elara’s knees gave way, and she sank to the floor. “Who was that? What does he want with me?”

Caden knelt beside her, his hand gentle on her shoulder. “Draven is a rogue alpha, exiled from his pack for his dark practices. He seeks to harness your power for his own gain.”

Aiden’s eyes were filled with determination. “We won’t let him take you, Elara. We’ll protect you with our lives.”

Elara looked at the three of them, her heart swelling with gratitude and love. She knew that the road ahead would be fraught with danger, but she also knew that she would not face it alone.
