She jogged towards Alpha Marcus and the others.
Alpha Marcus rushed forward.excitement radiating from him os he embraced her tightly, as if trying to merge her into his very essence. The remaining warriors surrounded them equally exhilarated.
I saw Selena lift her head and alongside Alpha Marcus, gesture towards the direction our team had just left.
A fleeting, cold smile of victory curled at the corners of her lips.
The group began pointing and whispering in our direction.
I gently closed my eyes, unwilling to witness that sickening scene any longer.
However, the very next second, my sharp senses picked up something off in the air.
Fear gripped my heart, and l opened my eyes wide, turning to look back.
In the area we had just evacuated.those frenzied rogues had charged forward, engulfing Alpha Marcus and his companions in an instant, then rapidly bearing down on us.
We had no choice but to run for our lives, with no time to stop. Beta Felix showcased incredible leadership,carving a path through the nearly overwhelming horde of rogues on the mountainside.
When we finally reached the temporary camp safely, dawn was breaking.

And l, the pack's Luna, had openly forced" the Beta to abandon Alpha.becoming the target of all criticism.
At a specially convened pack meeting about the incident, Selena draped in a pure white pelt lamented before all the werewolves, her sorrow palpable.
“I only wanted to get back the jewelry that Alpha Marcus had given to the pack, thinking l could return quickly I never imagined.. l never imagined the rogues would come so fast.”

“If it weren't for the Moon Goddess's protection, we'd all have perished at the hands of the rogues!”
From the assembly below, others who had stayed with him corroborated his claims.
