Drake pulled up in front of Laura's bar. He turned off the ignition, exhaled slowly and leaned back on the seat. A lot was going through his mind. He knew his father was gonna catch on to his everyday sudden disappearence soon. He knew exactly how his father was gonna react if he was to find out he was dating some girl in town.
Another important factor weighing on his mind was what he was gonna do when they were done with what brought them to town and are finally ready to leave. He wasn't ready to face such decision yet. Nor was he ready to leave Laura behind. He had fallen deeply for her and he couldn't bring himself to hurt her by disappearing suddenly.
