Cara took a bite from her sandwich whilst flipping through the pages of her book. She was so engrossed in what she was reading that she didn't notice Kate's eyes boring holes in her. “You know, a cafeteria is where you eat and not read" Laura drew her out of her world.
Cara smiled and looked up at her friend. “And who says I can't do both" she replied still maintaining her smile.
“He's still staring at you, you know" Laura pointed out, darting her eyes behind Cara.
