CHAPTER 8 March 2016 “You can’t leave me,” Tara said. She stood in the doorway to my room, watching me scribble illegible labels on boxes of clothes. “For one thing, you won’t be able to raid Eric’s closet when you need something to wear.” Her last-ditch effort to get me to change my mind about moving in with my boyfriend came as no surprise.
