I sat in my immaculate executive suite that served as my office. Currently, I was flipping through pictures of the woman I had vowed to make mine. Rather I had told her she was already mine. For five years I worked endlessly to get to where I am now. Running a multi million dollar company that has business in several countries and continents.
I was now 32 years old and ready to bring my woman home. I imagined she was furious with me for making such a statement and then not sending one word in the last five years. But I did it on purpose. I wanted her to think only of me. To wait only for me. To need and want only me. Unfortunately, my little hellion did not do all of those things in the last five years. I knew of every single man she had slept with and had even dated at a time. But each time, I came swooping in with a warning to each man and a blank check.
They didn’t deserve my Coletta if they were that easy to get rid of. Tonight I would finally get to have her writhing beneath me, begging me to give her what she needs. A smile spread across my face. You’ll finally be all mine, my love.
A knock on the door had me glancing up. My best friend who also acted as my executive manager opened the door. He arched an eyebrow as soon as he noticed what I was looking at.
“Dude, you have it really bad for that woman. I still don’t understand why you just didn’t claim her five years ago? I would have.” Whyatt Greston was a sought after bachelor in high society circles just as I was. The only difference between him an I, was that he wasn’t picky who he slept with.
“I know you would have. But I’m not you and besides, you don’t need to be privy to the reasons of why I do things,” I drawled.
“Ah, but I would like to.” He gave me his eat shitting grin and I sighed.
“Is everything prepared for tonight?” Changing the topic always helped to get his mind off of my personal business. His honey brown eyes lit up.
“Yes, everything is all set. I’m hoping I can find a beautiful woman at tonight’s event to spend the night with.” He waggled his dark eyebrows that were in contrast to his sandy brown hair.
“I have no doubt you’ll find someone.” Lifting a stack of documents, I stood and made my way to hand them to him.
“What are these?” he asked as he began flipping through them.
“They are my proposals for a partnership with Mozentano Empire. I need you to send them over to their office.”
“Sure thing. I can do that now.”
“Oh before you do,” I turned to pick up a sealed letter and place it on the top. “Make sure this gets delivered to Coletta along with those proposals.”
Whyatt lifted a brow in question but I didn’t take the bait.
“Ugh fine. But eventually you’ll have to share some details on this whole situation,” he grumbled, making his way back out of my office. I didn’t intend on sharing anything with anybody. Coletta was mine. All mine.
