THE LEGACY GROWS

Chapter 6: The Legacy Grows Luna POV The gentle hum of morning wrapped around me like a lullaby as I stood at the window of our quarters in the Fox Kingdom. My hands unconsciously rested on my belly—rounder, fuller, and brimming with life. Again. I was pregnant. After everything—our daughter Nina ascending into her true legacy, Auren’s power being revealed, and the elders’ approval—I never imagined I'd be granted this serenity so soon. But it came with Zane’s arms wrapped around me every night, his whispered promises, and a joy I couldn’t contain. He stirred behind me. “He’s going to be strong,” Zane murmured, his hand replacing mine on my belly. “I can feel it. Just like his sister.” I smiled. “He kicks like a wolf already.” “And he’ll rule like one too.” We were preparing to leave. The elders had given their blessing for us to return to our pack. Nina would remain in the Fox Kingdom for now—training, maturing, fulfilling her destiny with Auren at her side. My heart ached at the thought, but pride outweighed the sorrow. Our legacy was growing. --- Zane POV The air back at Blackclaw Pack felt like home, crisp and grounded. The entire pack had gathered to welcome us, cheers echoing in the forest. My father stood proud, beside my mother, who wore that serene expression she always had when everything felt right in the world. I looked over at Luna, glowing—not just with pregnancy, but with power and peace. She had earned this. As the Alpha now, I stood tall before our people, but today wasn’t about leadership. Today, it was about life. “Luna and I have returned,” I began, “with news. Our daughter has embraced her true legacy in the Fox Kingdom...and now, we await the arrival of our son.” Applause. Roars. Tears. Celebration. And there was more. “Beta Kane and his mate Ivy,” I added, motioning to them, “are also expecting.” Luna grinned beside Ivy, both of them radiant. Kane’s arm was slung protectively over his mate’s shoulder. But the surprises didn’t stop. My younger siblings—Kai and Lyra, the twins—stepped forward, fidgeting nervously. My mother clutched my father’s hand. “We...we’ve found our mates,” Lyra said, voice cracking with emotion. “And we’d like to be married...together. A twin ceremony.” I laughed—genuine, heartfelt. “Then we celebrate all of it.” A legacy multiplied. --- Ivy POV Pregnancy turned me into a glowing, irrational, emotional witch—but damn it, I was happy. Kane had been doting on me like I was spun glass. And Luna was my lighthouse in all of it. Our bond had only deepened through our shared motherhood, our battles, and the power within us. “She’s going to have your sass,” Luna teased, rubbing my belly. “And your stubbornness,” I countered. “And maybe her father’s growl,” Kane added, dropping a kiss on my temple. The wedding for the twins was a week away. Luna and I sat under the stars that night, our babies within, our hands intertwined. “Do you think they’ll grow up like siblings?” I asked. “They’ll rule like siblings,” she answered. --- Kai POV I’d always joked about finding a mate with pink hair and a dangerous glare. And that’s exactly what fate handed me—Aria, a rogue-turned-warrior with zero patience for my cocky grin. She walked up to me now, dressed in leathers, her eyes narrowing. “You’re staring,” she said. “I’m admiring.” “Marrying me won’t save you from my sword.” “And here I thought you liked soft-hearted warriors.” She snorted. “You’re not soft.” But her smile told me everything. I grabbed her hand, pulling her close. “We’re doing this, right?” “Right.” --- Lyra POV My mate, Devyn, was quieter—an Omega-turned-librarian who knew more about magical archives than how to hold a sword. But that’s what I loved about him. He calmed my chaos. He stood in the middle of the hall, overwhelmed by the decorations Ivy had whipped up with enchanted vines and flowers. “Did you...tell her we wanted simple?” he asked. I giggled. “It’s Ivy. She doesn’t do simple.” Our wedding would be shared, wild, and perfect. We were ready. All of us. --- The Ceremony Two white wolves stood beneath a moonlit altar—one male, one female—our family’s tradition. The blessings were given, vows exchanged, and magic filled the air. Luna wept softly beside me. Ivy leaned on Kane. Our babies kicked in sync. This was more than a wedding. It was a future being written—powerful, sacred, unbreakable. As the twins kissed their mates and howls rose into the sky, I knew something for certain. The legacy wasn’t just hidden anymore. It was thriving.
