I set down my glass and walked to the piano. Lifting the lid, I began to play Mariage d'Amour. It was the first piece Adrian had ever taught me, guiding my hands over the keys, note by note. The melody filled the room. Victor came up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. He pressed a soft kiss to my hair and began to hum along, his voice low and steady. When the final note faded, I said quietly, "Let's go see wedding dresses tomorrow." His breath hitched. "You've decided?" I turned and slipped my arms around his neck.
