#musicvibe - Touch the sky, Julie Fowlis * Valeria POV I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around myself. After a very long day, a shower to rinse out all the muck was very much needed. I was covered in dust and blood and the hot water worked wonders on my tense muscles. It had been a trying day. The hardest wasn’t the battle in itself. No, the hardest part was that now everyone knew that I was their Luna. How the hell they would know that was still a mystery to me, but it seemed like their wolves could feel it somehow. I wasn’t even sure that I wanted to be their Luna, and I started to feel a little pressured. Would they be disappointed if I turned Tyson down? Well, probably. I also feared what would happen to Tyson if I turned him down. The thought made my heart clench and I groaned. What have I gotten myself into? I heated the air around my head and made it flow through my hair to dry it. I didn’t bring a hairdryer so it was the best I could come up with. When I had gotten dressed, I walked out into the bedroom and saw Tyson sitting on the bed with his phone in his hand. He looked up when I walked in and smiled. “Are you ready?” He asked. I frowned. “For what?” Tyson smiled mischievously and reached out his hand. “Time for us to relax a little. No more work and no more battles. Just you and me.” I grinned and sparks trailed up my arm when I took his hand. “Sounds great.” Tyson led me out the back through the beautiful garden. He let go of my hand and started to undo the buttons on his shirt. “I’ll shift and carry you.” He said. I giggled. “Okay.” This time, I didn’t look away. Instead I shamelessly followed Tyson’s every movement, watching his body move as his clothes came off. Tyson let out a purring sound as he smirked at me. I tried not to show him how nervous I was. My gaze swept over his chiseled chest and abdomen, down to his long legs and his long member. The thought that I had taken it in my mouth made my core clench in a weird way. Tyson crouched down and his body started to change. I had seen him shift before, but I still stared in fascination as he shifted into his large black wolf. “Hi Dax.” I whispered when the shift was complete and the wolf was staring back at me. The wolf purred and pressed his snout into my stomach. I reached up and scratched Dax between his ears, making him purr even louder. After reaching down and gathering Tyson’s clothes, I climbed on Tyson’s back and we took off towards the forest. The sun was getting low, but it was still bright outside and the light cast a golden glow through the leaves. It felt like we were flying. Tyson ran steadily through the forest and I couldn’t resist. I threw my head back and howled with joy. When we reached the creek, Tyson followed it upstream, and I gasped when we stopped. The creek came from a large pond in the middle of the forest. A waterfall, about eight feet high, flowed into the creek. I got down from Tyson’s back, totally mesmerized by the view in front of me. Tyson shifted back and I handed him his clothes. While Tyson got dressed, I spotted a blanket and a picnic basket placed on a patch of grass. I felt hands on my arms and I turned around and smiled at Tyson. “Did you do all this?” I asked. Tyson grinned. “Well, I wanted some alone time with you.” He replied. He led me to the blanket and we sat down. Tyson rummaged through the basket and pulled out two wine glasses, a wine bottle and a bowl of macaroni salad. I started setting up the food while Tyson poured us some drinks. “Cheers.” Tyson said when he handed me a glass. I smiled and we clinked the glasses. The wine was refreshing and the macaroni salad was heavenly. I made a mental note to compliment Claire and ask for the recipe. “So, what do you think about… everything?” Tyson asked when we had finished eating.. “Hmm.” I said. “Well, I have to admit that I don’t really know what to think. It’s been really nice being here and I’ve really enjoyed it, but moving here with you feels like a big step.” “Would you want to come back here?” Tyson asked without looking at me. I picked up on his nervousness and I realized that he was afraid that I didn’t like it here. I took his hand and he looked at me. “Yes, I would.” I said without hesitation. Tyson’s eyes lit up and he pecked my lips. “I wish we could stay here.” He said. “I don’t want to go back to London.” I sighed. “I know.” I replied. “But I have work.” I could see the worry in Tyson’s eyes. “Do you have to work?” He asked quietly. “Amadeus knows who you are now. He could try to hurt you to get to me.” I leaned my head on his arm. “Hiding doesn’t solve anything.” I replied after a moment. “Besides, it would cause a lot of problems if I just got up and left without an explanation.” “I’m afraid.” He whispered. “I couldn’t live with myself if anything happened to you. It’s just instinct. I want to put you in fourteen layers of bubble wrap and keep you safe forever. Watching you disappear to another country, not knowing where you are or if you are in danger is killing me.” I entwined my fingers with his. “I know.” I whispered. “I’m sorry. There are just some things that are out of my control. I’m afraid of what would happen if I quit. It could cause more problems.” “I could protect you.” Tyson said and leaned his forehead on mine. “You are my life now. I love you so much.” I swallowed the lump that formed in my throat. “Does it bother you that I can’t say it back?” I asked. Tyson shook his head. “No.” He replied. “I’ll be happy the day you say it, because I’ll know that you mean it.” “What I can say is this.” I whispered and kissed him slowly, slipping my tongue in his mouth. Tyson quickly responded to the kiss and wrapped his arms around my waist. “I really like you.” I whispered when I pulled away. “You are the first person I have ever opened up to like this. I’m not afraid to be myself when I’m with you and I think you are a great guy.” Tyson grinned and pulled me into his lap. “It makes me really happy to hear you say that.” He replied and crashed his lips on mine again. I moved my hands down his muscular back and felt him tense underneath me. Feeling bold, my hands wandered down to the hem of his shirt. I lifted the shirt a little to let my hands explore the skin on his sides. Tyson’s grip on me tightened and he moaned, the sound muffled by my lips. In a way, it was thrilling to know that I had the power to elicit that kind of reaction from him. I felt my muscles clench and my core started throbbing when Tyson slipped his fingers inside my shirt and lightly roamed my upper body. I moaned into his mouth before I could stop it and pulled away when my feelings started to get the better of me. Tyson’s eyes were black and he blinked a few times to bring them back to his normal green. The ache in my core started to become unbearable and I desperately craved a release. I needed him. “You said something about returning that favor.” I whispered. Tyson’s eyes darkened. “With pleasure.” He replied huskily.
