LEONARDO’S POV Leonardo opened his eyes and stretched his body. He cracked his knuckles and then he got out of bed. He turned and saw the woman who was lying naked under bedsheets. He sighed a bit irritated. He hated having to wake up to see women still in his bed. He washed his face and put on his sweatpants and a hood and went out of his million dollar penthouse to jog. At the age of twenty nine he was the second most succesful man in the entire Italy and on the number ten list in Europe. If not for the old man Aldo, who had had generations of wealth, he would have been the first. Well he had every intentions of taking over. He owned vast businesses worldwide and prided himself as an intelligent business man. He wanted to run the world if they let him. He had been on business for so long, but now he had to go back to his hometown in Italy to run some businesses. He could never get tired of what he did. If a company was denied to him, he always found a way of indirectly ripping the owner apart until they had no one else to turn to. Theey always came running to him. He always got what he wanted. Since he was a little boy and that was not about to change. By the time he got back home. The woman was still in bed. "What are you doing here?" He asked her. She was a pretty blonde thing. He couldn't even rememeber how she had gotten into his bed in the first place or the details of last night. She smiled at him seductively. "I was hoping that I could give you some more of what you got last night." "I don't think I can even remember what we did last night." He said bluntly. She pouted and then she adjusted her face and smiled. "Well I can bring back those memories to you." She said in a very very seductive voice, her eyes trying to entice him But Leonardo was not in the least bit interested, in fact he was bored. He walked to one of his drawers and pulled out a large roll of money, then he turned to her and flung the money at her. "Take it and get out." He snapped. She looked at him in shock. "What do you take me for? A prostitute?" "You better take that money and leave before I call my security." He told her. He heard her shriek and then she grabbed her clothes and from the floor and left. How come he hadn't even noticed that in the first place. When he looked back at the bed, the money was gone too. Women. He knew she was still going to take the money. He took off all his clothes and grabbed a towel. Then he rang the buzzer. Less than a minute, there was a knock at the door. "Come in." He said. Then his assistant Cam came in. "Morning Mr Martini." She said. He didn't bother replying her greeting. She immediately started listing out his schedule for the day. "You have a meeting with executives of Ross companies by nine. Then you have some wine tasting at the vineyard by eleven. Also you have your usual private tea at twelve." Cam said as he stepped into the shower. "Do you still have intentions of buying the Ranch from Mr Duke?" He heard her ask. Leonardo snorted in irrittation. He wanted Mr Duke's ancestral Ranch, but the man was proving to be stubborn. Well he knew how to handle men like him and very soon he was going to be down at his feet. "Yes. But for now we are calm." He said from under the shower. "Your father called." Cam said. Leonardo tensed when he heard that. "He said he wanted to speak to you." Cam said. "Why? Is he married again?" Leonardo asked sacarstically. He hardly ever joked. This was an expensive joke and he meant every word of it. "No, he is still with his wife Felicia." Cam told him. "Cancel everything on my schedule today and ready the private jet." He said and turned his exotic body back to the diamond drops of the shower. "We're flying to Italy." * * * ** **SELENA'S POV** Selena was in her father’s Restaurant in the morning when her friend Sofia came in. Sofia was Selena’s best friend from way back in high school and even after they had graduated, they had still stuck together “Guess what??” Sofia cleared her throat. “Aldo asked me to the movies.” Selena’s eyes widened in surprise. “No way.” “Yes way.” Sofia said and both girls squealed together and the customers in the store turned to look at them. And they became quiet and they started giggling. “Selena come take the orders.” Marco who worked as their assistant Chef rang the bell as he dropped a tray of food on the counter. “I am so happy for you.” Selena said in excitement for her friend as she walked to the counter. “I knew you would.” Sofia said. “You already knew how much I had been dying to date him since we were in school.” That was true. Sofia had liked Aldo since school, it was obvious that he liked her too, but he had seemed so shy to even approach her. But now here was Sofia giggling with excitement that Aldo had asked her to a date at the movies. “Oh I envy you so much.” Selena said. “You envy me?” Sofia said in surprise. “I envy you Selena. Everyone in schooled envied you. You literally had all the boys in school following you like puppies. They all were going crazy about you, you, you.” Selena blushed. She had been told times without number that she was extremely beautiful, her father told her every time, Sofia told her every time, boys told her all the time. But she tried her best to not let it get In to her head. The church had told her not to be vain and let beauty make you proud. A woman needed to be modest. “Everyone was asking you out in school.” Sofia said as they both cleared a table. Selena shook her head. “Yes, but my father would never allow it. You know how he is about me.” “I understand you but still.” Sofia protested. “You are the most beautiful girl in this whole village.” “Oh stop it.” Selena said modestly. “Take it or leave it, it’s nothing but the truth.” Sofia said. Selena stopped and then turned around to face Sofia. “You know what I want? I want a man who is going to love me the way my papa loved my mother. A dashing handsome man who is going to sweep me off my feet just the way they do in all those harlequin books.” Selena laughed. “I’m just playing.” “And you would get that hopefully.” Sofia promised. “A beautiful girl like you should be with a prince not any low timing brat here in this town.” Selena laughed. “You’re just saying it Sofia. Well all that doesn’t happen in real life. Just books.” Then Selena went behind the kitchen counter and they both dropped the dirty dishes in the sink. “Aldo said that he is going to be moving to the city.” Sofia said. Selena looked at Sofia. “He really said that?” Sofia nodded. “Uh-huh.” “So you’re going to be like one of those people who usually move off to live in the city.” Selena said. “I wonder what that’s going to feel like.” “When Aldo and I do get married, you could come and visit us. Even stay if you like.” Sofia said. “Really?” Selena asked excited. Then her face fell and she shook her head. “No I can’t possibly do that.” “Why?” Sofia asked. “Because it just wouldn’t be right. You too would be married and I would be there interrupting your happily married life.” Selena sad reasonably. “Selenaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.” Sofia growled in annoyance. "Who is getting married?" Marco asked as he prepared the orders. "Because I need to attend a wedding where I know someone." "Did someone say wedding?" Lucia who was also an assitant Chef asked. She was a bosom lady, very friendly and in her late mid forties. She had been working for Selena and her father for a very long time. "Nobody is getting married." Selena told them. "Yet!" Sofia inputted sharply. "Take what she said seriously at you own risk." Selena told them playfully and then she turned back to her work. "Who do we believe. You or her?" Lucia asked Sofia. As Selena walked back to where the table were and other customers were coming in. She heard the door open and then she looked up. Right there was Felix Ricardo. Her face became grim when she saw him. Felix Ricardo was a boy that had been in their school. He was the welathiest kid in school and he was quite proud. He had been chasing her back and forth on a date, but Selena wasn't interested. "Oh no." Sofia mumbled behind her. They watched as he came in and took a seat with his friends. "Don't worry, just go in. I'll take his orders." Sofia offered. Selena sighed with gratitude. "Thanks a lot." "Don't mention." Sofia said and then she wnet to their tablle with notepad while Selena headed to the back. As long as Felix was there, he was going to terrorise her for life. She sighed heavily. Why did she feel like something was going to happen today?
