CH 10- A PERSONAL ASSISTANT

TASHA'S POV

I gazed at him with that dead expression of stun and shock that he realised me. How? I mean, I wasn’t ever the same chubby girl anymore as it was the last state of me he had ever seen and then this night was the time I met him after so long and still he knew me. The curiosity was driving me crazy but luckily, my man had again came to save me.

Dylan jumped with excitement seeing his brother back and as soon as I welcomed him, he made his way in and jumped on to him, hugging him crazily.

“Welcome back brotherrrrrrrr" he yelled with excitement and ended up giving him a kiss which embarrassed all of us.

“What the heck Dylan" brother was literally horrified by the kiss and took out his hanky to wipe it while Dylan smirked at him wickedly. It was the cutest gesture of his to be hell naughty and be himself in every moments of life.

After both of us, he was greeted by alpha diana. If it was for Dylan, one could have seen her overflow with joy, happiness and excitement but tonight none of those emotions were seen in her. More than a mother, the alpha in her was what stood before the heir who had finally came back to take his place. Brother came towards her and gave a warm hug and after a few minutes she too responded to it with a happy smile. I wondered if she was in stress thinking about the protection of both her sons?

Came the order from the alpha, asking me to take him to his room and take care of his needs and wants to which I nodded yes and then I was followed by brother with out any more fuss of ceremonies of guard of wolf’s. We were accompanied by Dylan, who was chattering none stop about any senseless things and his euphoria of getting back his brother was well and openly expressed by him and I was pressurised with the self control of keeping myself together from laughing at his acts.

Brother was very reserved and all he kept on doing was hearing and smiling at all the things that Dylan was firing at him. As we reached his room, I firstly informed him that his room was securitized by a password lock which only he was to know and he could share it with 2 more people who could only use it in emergencies.

He again nodded to me and mad this password, and opened the door which was once upon a time his own. I had changed nothing in it as I had no idea about his taste and preferences. Hence once he got in and I put down his luggage, I made it clear to him that if he wanted any changes in the room all he had to do was to convey them to me and I would do the needed.

He looked around with an expressionless mood and as his sight fell on the photographs of the heirs, which was of his, brother Zayn and my sister's. His eyes immediately started at it for a while and before I could say something about it, he went to it and kept it down without a word. His frustration was visible from his act and I didn’t wanted to fire up the grill so I bid a bye and let him rest. Things went well and now all I wished for was a bit of peace in the mansion but I didn’t know that mine was soon to be taken away.

The morning had fell and I had gotten up earlier than before as a mountain if duties were upon my head and its timely settlement was a mess for me. I got entangled in the web of security if the territory and the heir while managing the organisation of games and already my mind was driving crazy that it had to do more to it when I was called my brother Jayden.

“Come on in” he permitted me to enter his room and I saw that he had already gotten into action by setting up his own office in his room. I bet it was the best place to carry out his works in privacy.

“You called for me brother” my actual hard core tone was not expected by him at the time and he looked at me with a stun.

“I needed to talk to you” he too put on his tone and it seemed that we had a more official kind of relation between us and I was satisfied with it.

“Take a seat. It might get long” he signalled to the seat in front of him and I took my seat waiting for him to get to the point.

“i wanted to know every bit of details about the pack and the territory and all the lack members told me that you were the best for it. So I give you this” he handed over to me a brown envelop and I took it with an alarmed look. Why was I feeling that I was going to get more on my shoulders? Did he too intended to take the revenge of my family's deeds on me? Thoughts began to run through my mind.

“go on and open it” he again ordered me and my hands ran through the envelop taking out the letter from it which was signed with the official seal. What trouble awaited for me I guessed. I opened the letter and my eyes ran through the black bold words and then I felt as if revenge had become my best pal forever in life. It was stated in the letter that-

As per the orders of the heir of neon bay lack who is going to be honoured with the position of the alpha of alphas, Ms. Tasha King is promoted to the post of the personal secretary of heir Jayden Michael human as per his desires. It is an order from the local board that his desires may be met as soon as possible the personnel may be educated with her new duties and responsibilities.

I had entirely lost my mind. This was a pure revenge. First mother, now son. Making me his PA meant i would have to roam around like a puppet losing the tiny bits of freedom i had of delegating my works. This was a well planned attack and it did strike me well.

“I.....ahm...i didn’t know that you would take over your mother to take your revenge for what my so called father did to your father" i was done acting strong in front of him too so i sarcastically spoke to him, ready to face anything for doing so.

“huh?” i felt that he didn’t expect such a reply from me, still i poured out my heart to him.

“nothing. Till now alpha had been avenging her husbands death on me when i have no memories of that day and has made my life a charity. Now that you have come back, this letter makes me feel that I’m destined to pay the price of my family’s deeds" i didn’t let any word miss and straightforwardly told him. He was going to be the alpha of alphas and he had to listen to his pack members grief.

I had never complained anything to anyone till then and no one, not even Dylan had known how and what all his mother had done to me. But this was a step that took things to its extreme. I didn’t even pause to think that i was over reacting on things without hearing his side.

“Calm down kiddo. Don’t underestimate me thinking that i know nothing as i know everything. Every bit of things" he emphasised on it and my eyes wide opened hearing it. Did he really know everything?

“What do you mean" this time i paused to make sure what he meant and he gave me a low smile on it.

“this letter is your freedom i guess” he said nothing more and simply winked at me and i sat gaping at what really happened there. I had cooked up things in my mind and that man had called me to give me the ticket to my freedom. Did he mean that I was free from being under alpha? Was I going to work under him from now on? The letter clearly stated that I was to be his PA it means.. Once my f****d up mind solved the puzzle and understood the actual thing, I felt guilty for behaving so rudely with him and wanted to apologize and I did a blunder.

I began to work out a thousand ways to say sorry to him in my mind taking his name and suddenly he intruded my mind asking me not to spin up my tiny mind on that matter and that my apology was accepted. That was when I realised that I had abruptly talked to him telepathically and I curled out in embarrassment. I couldn’t face him in that state and simply shouted a thanks to him and rushed out of the room as fast as I could. He simply chuckled seeing me like that.

For the first time in my entire life, I felt a heavy breath ease my whole system. I never expected such a big mercy from a person whom I didn’t even remember nor I had done anything good for him. I couldn’t believe that he had saved me from alpha without any expectations.

After 2 days, I got myself busy with get to brother acquainted with his pack and from the people in the office, I got to know that Dylan and the girl was the centre of attraction in the arena after their intense chemistry was spotted by the people. Hearing those rumours, I could think whether it was true of false, still the wolf in me whom I had never brought out was filled with rage knowing that it’s mate was with a girl. Even if the girl had saved his life, I couldn’t bear hearing that she was with him and the people talk about them so I got the file of the girl and examined it with utmost care.

I got to know about her wholly and wasn’t surprised at her skills with which she saved Dylan from the attack. It was from her pack that she was such a good and not so great warrior or so I thought. Brother had let me take care of the training of the players and I did the same. I called for them and they gathered in the ground.

After I introduced myself, the arrogant players left no chance to mock me for my gender and size and I had to show them that they had made a huge mistake on that. I nicely called up for the man and it was a piece of cake for me to show him his place.

Once everyone got to know the real me, I confidently faced them till my eyes got the girl who had saved Dylan. She was still wearing her arm swing and it was evident that her wound was still fresh. The mate in me was ted to pounce on her for being with my man but I controlled it inside me. I walked up to her and though she was elder to me, I played superior to her.

But to astonish me, she challenged me for a fight and I thanked my fate for giving me a chance to show her who I was, but I didn’t know where I git wrong, she overpowered me and trashed me to the ground and walked away. I got up and something in me didn’t let me feel good or bad at all..

It didn’t take much time for the news of our fight to reach the alpha and I was summoned. I faced her wrath as usually but the most unexpected thing that happened was the she had raised her hand on me without an anticipation and then the girl, Mia had wide opened the door witnessing the scene and came to me helping me get up. I couldn’t believe that she did that act in front of an alpha and feared what extra spices was she going to add into my life thereon......
