Whitney's POV
Cafeteria was a bit weird. Whitney noticed that something was off. But she was not even sure where the awkwardness was coming from.
Christian as usual was oblivious to everything that was happening on the table. I tried my best to give all my attention to Christian but I guess it seemed forced and made things more awkward. Hollie was always awkward and so she made things more awkward.
“Guys I think we should all hang out after school you know to celebrate Georgia’s freedom” Whitney said after the deafening silence on the table
“Uhm I made plans” Hollie said almost immediately as if she had been preparing to give an excuse.
“But we all know you didn’t” Whitney challenged her. They were in an eye contest and from the looks of it, it was not going to end anytime soon.
