I could not tell if he was upset about what I did or he did not care. His face did not show any emotion. And I was not sure if I liked that or not.
"To be fair, you and I were not together when it happened" I chipped in defensively.
"I do not care if we were together when it happened or not. You took a very big risk, a very unnecessary one. If something happened to you"
"But nothing happened" I cut him off, I did not like how over protective he was sounding. Though deep within me, I knew he was right.
"But anything would have happened, it could have been a trap. You violated the law, what if you were caught. If case you have forgotten, that is still a crime scene" he said in a slightly raised voice and his nostrils flaring slowly
