Spring Break

Darian POV

Today I am surprising Nix, Lucian, and Nina with a trip.  I have yet to tell them where we are going.  I did tell them what to pack however.  Hopefully they all like my surprise.  I am even taking them on the Alpha’s private jet.  I can’t wait to see Nix’s reaction to everything.

Nix POV

Today Darian is taking me, Lucian, and Nina on a trip to who knows where for Spring Break.  I am excited but also nervous to see what he has up his sleeve for this trip.  I carefully lift my head up off Darian’s chest so that I can watch him sleeping.  Only when I look up, his eyes open.

“Good morning, beautiful.”  Darian says with a husky voice and a huge grin on his face.

“Good morning, handsome.”  I smile back while feeling my cheeks blush at being caught.

“You have such a pretty blush.”  Darian says stroking my cheek.  “Ready for the week?”

“Yes.  But are you ever going to tell me where we’re going?”

“Not until we get there.”  He says with a sly grin.  I shake my head.  He looks over at the other couch.  “Morning, you two.”  He says.  I look over and, sure enough, Lucian and Nina are awake and watching me and Darian.

“Morning.”  Nina smiles.  Lucian nods his morning.  “What time are we leaving?”

“As soon as everyone is ready.”  Darian answers.  The other two take no time at all to get up and start getting ready.  Darian smiles down at me and I give him a kiss before getting up myself.  We all get ready and I put the items I used this morning back in my suitcase.  Darian and Lucian take our bags out to Lucian’s car since his car holds more than two people.  Darian and I sit in the backseat holding hands.  Lucian drives us to the airport.  When we get there, rather than park in the parking lot, Lucian drives to a hanger.  He parks and we all get out of the car.  Two men come over and Lucian pops the trunk.  The two guys take the four bags and walk towards a door opposite from us.  Darian grabs my hand and leads us to the same door.  When we go through the door, I see a jet.  My eyes are probably bulging out of my head.  Darian chuckles.

“This is the Alpha’s personal jet.  Mom has given me permission to use it even though I’m not fully Alpha yet.”  Darian explains.  We all load the plane.  Within twenty minutes we are taking off.  I lay my head on Darian’s shoulder.  Soon, I am being woken up.  “Baby, we’re landing now.”  Darian says.  I grunt a bit but slowly open my eyes.  “Morning.”

“It was that long of a flight?”  I ask confused.

“Yeah.”  Darian chuckles.  I look out the window and see it’s light out.

“Where are we?”  I ask.

“Lucian, Nina, Nix.  Welcome to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.”  Darian says.  “We will spend today and tomorrow here, then travel to Saint Louis for a day.  The pilot will then take us down to Florida for three days.  We’ll be home next Sunday evening.”  Darian says.  “So, shall we go?”  He stands up and the rest of us follow suit.  We get off the plane and a sleek black SUV waits for us.  This time Darian and I sit in front so he can drive.  We head for the hotel first.  Darian got us adjoining rooms.

“Hope this is okay with you.”  Darian says setting the bags down on the single bed in the room.  It happens to be a king bed.

“This is great.”  I smile.  A knock sounds on the joint doors.  I open the door revealing Nina with a huge smile on her face.

“This room is incredible!”  She exclaims looking at Darian.

“I’m glad you like it.”  Darian smiles.  “Who’s hungry?”  Everyone raises their hand.  We go to a restaurant then spend the day sight-seeing.

After dinner, we go back to the hotel and swim for about an hour.  Darian and I take turns showering.  I crawl into bed and immediately curl into Darian.

Darian POV

Today I wake the other three up around eleven.  We go get some lunch then I surprise them by going to Ripley’s Aquarium.  Nix goes all day getting excited by every new tank.  I take her through the tunnel that is a tank itself.  Then I save the best for last.  Petting stingrays.  It takes me a good half hour to get Nix to leave.  We go through the gift shop and Nix winds up seeing a travel cup she really likes.  We get some dinner then pack our things and go back to the airport.

It takes about twenty minutes for us to lift off.  Nix stays awake this time.  When we land in Saint Louis, we head straight for the hotel.  Nix winds up crashing as soon as we get to the room.  Tomorrow will probably exhaust her more.

Nix POV

It’s been a long few days.  While in Saint Louis we went up into the top of a famous arch.  It was cool.  Then we went to an aquarium.  Overnight we flew down to Florida.  Those next three days we spent at three different theme parks.  Universal, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot.  I was a wonderful trip.

Now, we are on the plane going home.  I actually had to purchase a medium duffel bag because of all the souvenirs I, well Darian, bought.

I rest my head on Darian’s shoulder after being in flight for two hours.  I have a feeling that I will sleep the rest of the way home.

Darian POV

Nix is passed out on my shoulder again.  My Beta, Lucian, and his mate, Nina, are also passed out in their seats across the aisle.  Guess I wore them all out this week.  I think with own surfacing.  I rest my head lightly on Nix’s.

I wake up roughly an hour before the captain informs us that we’ll be landing soon.  I wake the other three up just as we begin descent.  As Lucian and I drop off Nina and Nix, they both exclaim what a great week it was.  Lucian expresses the same while dropping me off.  I’m glad everyone had a good time.  I think to myself as I drift off for bed tonight.
