The waiter finally served their order and his eyes widen to see James sitting across another woman. She’s different from the one he talks to last time. He was about to blabber but James widened his eyes to stop him from doing so. He looks so surprised and confused about what’s going on. He didn’t know that his boss has this side when it comes to women. James jolted his head to dismiss the waiter and Aliah caught them exchanging gazes.
As soon as the waiter left their table, she immediately asked about it.
“At first, I thought you are just a regular customer in here that’s why everyone seems to recognize you. But as time goes by, I feel like it’s more than that. So tell me, what’s going on?” Aliah insisted while swirling the fork in her rose pasta without meeting his gaze.
