THE CELEBRATIONS

Chapter 7: Drunked Two weeks later, Horizon Company successfully closed a massive international merger, resulting in a huge financial windfall for the company. To celebrate, the entire marketing and administrative staff organized an after-hours party at an exclusive, high-end VIP club in the heart of the city. To everyone's utter shock, Kenneth Anthers actually agreed to attend, sitting quietly in the VIP lounge, sipping whiskey while his employees let loose.Ian, who rarely socialized and had no close friends among the staff due to his heavy workload, felt completely out of place. Pressured by his older coworkers, Ian was continuously handed brightly colored, sweet cocktails. Because he rarely drank, Ian didn't realize how strong the alcohol was. By midnight, the room was spinning, and the loud bass of the music made his head throb. He was completely, utterly intoxicated. As the party began to wind down around 2:00 AM, the employees began leaving in groups, hailed by cabs. Ian stumbled out of the club’s entrance, leaning heavily against a cold concrete pillar. He was slurring his words, his sky-blue eyes glassy and unfocused. Because he lived in a distant, cheap apartment complex and didn't have anyone to look after him, the remaining staff looked worried.Kenneth walked out of the club, his coat slung over his shoulder. He took one look at the completely helpless, heavily panting Ian and sighed deeply." I'll take him," Kenneth announced to the staff, his tone brooking no argument. "Everyone else, go home."Kenneth practically had to carry Ian to his luxury SUV, wrapping an arm securely around Ian's waist. Ian mumbled incoherently, his head rolling onto Kenneth’s shoulder, exhaling a sweet, alcohol-laced breath against Kenneth’s neck. Kenneth's body stiffened at the contact. He initially intended to drive Ian to his apartment, but looking at Ian’s semi-conscious state, Kenneth realized he didn't even know Ian's exact address. Left with no choice, Kenneth directed his driver to head straight to his private luxury penthouse condo. When they arrived at the quiet, expansive penthouse, Kenneth carried Ian inside, laying him down gently on the massive king-sized bed in the master bedroom. Kenneth knelt down to unlace Ian’s shoes, but as he pulled the blankets up, Ian suddenly reached out, his clumsy fingers catching the collar of Kenneth's shirt. "M-Mr. Anthers ..." Ian whispered, his sky-blue eyes blinking open, clouded with intoxication and a deep, hidden longing. "You're always so mean to me... but you're so warm..."Kenneth froze, his face inches away from Ian’s. The alcohol, the late hour, and weeks of suppressed, burning desire suddenly broke through Kenneth's iron restraint. Looking at Ian’s flushed, beautiful face and soft parted lips, Kenneth lost his mind."You shouldn't say things like that to me, Ian," Kenneth growled softly. Before Ian could process the words, Kenneth leaned down and captured Ian’s lips in a deep, fierce, and possessive kiss. Ian gasped against the sudden warmth, but instead of pulling away, his clumsy hands wrapped around Kenneth’s neck, completely surrendering to the intoxicating sensation. The kiss grew wilder, filled with a raw passion that had been building between them for months. That night, amidst whispered gasps, tangled sheets, and a desperate, burning heat, they crossed the line. It was intense, passionate, and entirely consuming. For Ian, despite the haze of alcohol, every touch felt like heaven, because he had secretly fallen deeply in love with his harsh boss. It was his very first time, a sacred surrender to the man who held his heart.
