It was a day after the drama performance and I couldn’t get over being called the drama queen.
“You’re so popular…” Julia whispered as we walked into the ranch to hear numerous cheers from people.
“It’s extremely scary… When would it end? I mean the whole cheering and receiving of gifts? Just today the maids brought in five baskets of roses, Xavie was pissed and he almost exploded when he saw the chocolates and jewelry.” I continued with a smile, remembering Xavier’s face.
“Well it’s his fault for marrying a capable wife like you.” She replied and I rolled my eyes.
“Oh please, we both know this is a joke. I’m not half as good as you are. You’ve got numerous degrees and I’m judging but a married woman.” I said with a pout and she chuckled.
