Collins, the new Beta, nodded as I dropped the map of the town. I had marked the road where Aurora and I had been attacked, including the forest they had escaped to. The searches had so far been discouraging, and not a single trace of the attackers had been found.
“We need to check the area again, especially that house you and the men found.” I gritted as I circled the vicinity with a red marker.
Collins sighed, glancing at me. “We have checked there ten times now, and I still have two men out there, keeping watch over the building. They haven’t been home since last week.”
