  Xavier’s POV   I grunted as Louis settled opposite me and helped himself to a glass of wine. Then, he filled his plate with crackers from the tray and proceeded to eat them.   “You didn’t eat from home?” I asked, interrupting him.   He chewed loudly, smiling. “No, you called me quite early. My wife had barely started cooking, and you can’t be kept waiting, so I had to leave her and rush over.”   “Okay. Aurora is home, but I feel she’s still in danger.”   “Why?
