Chapter 8: Exploring the LandAfter eating, Cody used the bathroom, then went to change. He’d meet Jace out front when he was ready. It was already hot outside, so he put on his denim cut-off shorts, flip-flops, and a string tank with arm holes so deep they were nearly nonexistent. To finish off the look, he popped his straw cowboy hat on his head. Upon exiting the trailer, he locked the door behind him, then turned to see Jace sitting in a four-passenger golf cart.
The really funny thing that made Cody smile was that he and Jace were dressed almost exactly the same. They each wore denim shorts, flip-flops, straw hats, and even tank tops, only Jace’s was skintight.
“We almost look like twins this morning,” Jace said, then smiled. That’s Nicky’s old straw hat, isn’t it?”
“Yup,” Cody said
