Selena sits in her dimly lit office, staring at her screen. Files are open, tabs pulled from deep research. A report sits on her desk — the result of nearly a week of digging into Donovan Grey.
*Selena (muttering):*
"I knew there was more to this man..."
She prints the file, binds it, and slips it into her bag. Then she dials Vici.
*Selena (on call):*
"V, we need to talk. Urgently. I’ll be at your place in an hour."

Vici opens the door, her expression tired but collected. Selena hands over the file silently.

"That’s everything I found on Donovan. His company’s early funding, his past in the States, the missing years... and something strange. Someone wiped parts of his personal relationship history. Especially one woman."
*Vici (flipping through):*
"Why do I feel like I’ve seen this before...?"
Selena watches her.
*Selena:*
"You said he looked at you strangely during dinner. Now you know why. He’s trying to connect dots."
*Vici (sharply):*
"Then I’ll draw the wrong picture for him."

Vici strides in with confidence. Her assistant hands her the finalized documents.
A joint *press meeting* is about to be held — announcing a *new business partnership* between Monroe Luxe and Grey Holdings.
*INT. PRESS CONFERENCE HALL*
Cameras flash. Donovan arrives moments after, surprised to see Vici already seated and in control.
*Vici (into mic):*
"It’s an honor to partner with Grey Holdings. This collaboration is purely strategic, driven by excellence... and not by curiosity."
Her eyes meet Donovan’s.
*Donovan (smiling faintly):*
"And I trust this alliance will be... mutually revealing."
Behind the cameras, Selena watches, arms folded.
*Selena (to herself):*
"She’s playing this perfectly."
