In Heat

    I had expected to wake up to the rays of sunshine and birds singing, with me waking up on the right side of the bed, but I was terrible wrong. As soon as I opened my eyes it was something like I had never felt before, I felt an urgency in my blood for a release. It was as though my blood was boiling and about to explode through my skin any moment. I was extremely hot! It felt like I had fallen into a fire pit and couldn't get out!

    The mark on the side of my neck seared in pain and I screamed out. I was too far away to get anywhere with the pain that I was in, so I make it to the bathroom and fill myself up a bath. I strip down and slowly sink into the tub letting the warm water envelope me in sweet bliss.

    I felt better, but my mark was still searing in pain and I felt like exploding from the inside out. Before I could even begin finish rinsing the shampoo from my hair I hear a knock at the bathroom door. Crap, who could that be? I was not in the mood to be around anybody right now with how much pain I was feeling.

    I could barely even talk let alone get up to dry off and open the door. Before I could even try to mutter a hello, the bathroom door swung open and a sweaty Dean in blue basketball shorts with no shirt stood huffing and puffing, breathing in the air deeply, he glared at her.

    She scrunched down in the tub, scared and confused as to what she did wrong. He slowly walked closer and closer to her, not saying a word just breathing in the air around him and looking straight into her eyes with his own dark black ones. Before she could say anything his eyes turned back to the gold topaz that she was learning to adore.

    In a quiet and sad voice she stated, "I don't feel so good."

    He nodded and before she could say anything else he slid his shorts off, to her dismay, and came into the tub with her, moving her forwards so he could position himself directly behind her. The feeling of his skin against her immediately calmed her fired up nerves and she melted into his arms as they wrapped around her. She then felt a hard object against her lower back and blushed when she realized it was his arousal. 

    Normally this would not be something she would let happen, but his touch soothed her fired up skin and senses. She finally felt much better by just feeling his touch and presence surrounding her.

    There was something in her mind that wanted her to turn around and have her way with him, but where did these thoughts come from?     "Please, what is going on with me?" She looked up at him with a sad expression to her face to which he just sighed, keeping his arms wrapped around her as he thought of how to explain.        

    "It is my fault for marking you, apparently I am wrong about a lot of things Melanie, and you seem to bring out these flaws in me and help me to correct them."

    She scrunches her face in confusion as he continues, "But I don't mean in a bad way, you see I thought that because you were human you wouldn't experience the same symptoms as wolves who are mated, but I was wrong. Yesterday you began your pre-mating phase, which is why you woke up this morning feeling how you do. So until you release yourself, this pain could continue for at least a week or sometimes longer.

    She shakes her head, "I don't want to do that though."

    She feels her stomach yearning for her every desire throughout every inch of her body. Her body wanted him and was betraying her in every which way. She was not ready for this step in whatever kind of relationship this was.

    He nods his head, "As much as I would love to have you right now, I figured that you wouldn't want to."

    He looks at her with a smile and she can't help but to shyly smile alone, "Then what were you getting after?"

    He laughed at her comment, "Maybe I could just show you?"

    She nods, but quickly thinks twice when he gets out of the bath and takes a couple towels off the rack, quickly drying himself off. Before she could react he reached into the tub picking her up from underneath and cradling her in his arms as he wrap her with a towel, slowly rubbing the towel up and down her body, drying her damp skin.

    He carries her to the bed and gently lays her down vertically on the horizontal bed, so that her legs her were pointing towards his direction on the side of the bed. He smiles at the sight in front of him and she feels the skin covering her cheeks redden themselves from this intimacy.

    While slowly moving towards her, he lays a hand softly to the side of her thigh while parting her legs and hovering over her to graze his lips against hers before planting them firmly and passionately in a deep kiss, she felt his tongue travel her mouth and escape gently. 

    Traveling down to her neck and flicking his tongue against her mark, making her moan softly under her breath. Although she knows that he heard her as his mouth travels down to her breasts and nips gently onto their center. She yelps out of surprise he chuckles and gently suckles the whole of her n****e making her groan and push her hips up towards his hard center.

    He smiles up at her and continues his journey down her navel, laying light soft kisses down her skin before stopping slightly at her groin. Before she could object she felt the point of his index finger slowly tracing her lower lips and parting them slightly.

    He nods, "I knew you would. I will get you some suppressants though just in case I am not here. You can't be going around unmated wolves while in heat, it an be very dangerous. Luckily, you will be my Luna, so most wolves know that to touch you is a death sentence. Although, you have yet to be announced as such, so not everyone will know who you are when seeing you."

    What he was saying to me was terrifying, I need to pay attention to myself and what I do around here. It seems like this place can be more dangerous than I had ever thought it to be.

    As he puts his shorts back on he looks at me with a smile on his face, "Oh, but you will be on my arm tonight at my Alpha ceremony you do realize, right?"

    Her eyes widen at this, she honestly wasn't even sure if she would go or not, she felt as though she would be a black sheep in the middle of a bunch of wolves. Also she didn't know anything about these customs and could make a mistake.

    "There is a dress for you in your closet and a pair of shoes, mother also sent some jewelry to be delivered to you before the event. That way you may look like a true Luna," he said with a giant smile on his face. She realized he was smiling a lot more since he came back. Something inside made her feel like he missed her while he was gone.

    "Where did you go this week Dean? I mean, your staff said you were away for work so I was just curious."

    His smile soon dropped as he ran a hand through his hair, "Unfortunately babe, not everything is as beautiful in this world as you."

    Her confused expression spread across her face and he only nodded and continued, "There are exiled wolves called Rogues. They are very dangerous and have lost every shred of humanity to the point where they are just that, wolves.Their jealousy and anger fuel their attempts to destroy and raid packs, so my pack, being one of the strongest has many allies. Because of this duty, when an ally gets attacked by rogues it may sometimes call on me and my warriors to assist with fixing damages and planting defenses along with also killing a lot of Rogues."

    Her eyes are as wide as golf balls as she acknowledges his words, "I never thought about how deep all this goes."

    He only nods his head in agreement with her, "There is only so much more for you to learn though baby, you'll be an amazing Luna, I just know it."
