Chapter Five Fun and Games “You have got to be kidding me,” Melanie whispered to herself. She was sitting in her car, parked in the lot at the northeast corner of the intersection of Trimble and Main. It had taken her a few passes around to find an open spot in the busy lot. She watched, wide-eyed, as throngs of screaming children swarmed from minivans and SUV’s toward the brightly colored front door of the place. The sign above the door proudly proclaimed ‘Fun n Games.’ Through the tall windows that made up the entire front of the building, she could see dejected parents sitting at tables sipping soft drinks and chewing on pizza while the hordes of children ran between the games that filled the place. Melanie’s phone buzzed. She glanced at the clock before picking up the phone: 11:00
