Chapter Eight Heating Element Melanie took a deep breath as the door closed behind Jonathan. She looked down at the paper on the desk between her hands again. Nothing had magically changed on the document. It was a single page. Reading it, she saw that it gave broad and complete control to her agent, who would be Jonathan. Her head swam.
