CHAPTER-2

KRYSTAL P.O.V

" Get your butt out of bed K," Adriana yelled,

Jumping atop my bed , a beamimg smile on her face.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I mumbled , groaning , before brushing the rest of the sleep from her eyes, as I make my way for morning routine.

" I'm here to escort you to school today, " Adriana announced, her blue curls bouncing as sge bounced on the bed rather excitedly.

I shot her a confused look. " Why you are doing it today, where is mom and brandon?"

" Brandon is picking Lia up today , and as you know Kylie has left for work early this morning".

" Wait a minute , what about my surprise then?" I blurted out...

"What surprise?" she asked me with a confused look.

I look out for my mobile, when a message popped up,....

It is from mom,,,,

Honey, I am really sorry, I am running out late for the work today , So you'll get your surprise later in the day, You will like it for sure...

I signed annoyed, Fine

" Hurry up, its almost time for school , K

we will get late, rushing toward the door."

I heard her descending the stairs, I groaned knowing that she is right . It was time for school.

I checked myself in the mirror, making sure i look perfect, I love getting dressed.....

The outfit which I was wearing today, consisted of red crop top and patterned white skirt with black converse...

Her car was parked right outside, and I climbed up to the passenger side....

"Wanna Drive?" She offered, holding up the keys , and it was solely tempting me, i admire Ford Mustang sports car infront of me...

" Are you serious? " I asked, not knowing she was she just pulling my leg.

" Dead serious," She replied , throwing the keys at myself, which I caught easily in one hand.

" Wow thanks!" I exclaimed, jogging around the car to the driver's seat. I tossed my backpack into the back, before opening the driver side door, before putting on my seatbelt...

The rest of the drive flashed by , and soon we pulled into the school parking lot.

" Wohho we are here," She proclaimed, brushing stray blue strands of hair from her face....

We made our way inside, unsual chantering's were going around..

"What's the rush going around?" I asked her

" Havn't you heard about the new guy, he's is also in senior year and he is pretty hot and mouth dropping," Emily said , coming out of nowhere, following behind her rest of the group....

" What guy". I asked, wondering what it is a big deal, it's just a random guy...

" Babe, he is like a greek god, you will get to know once you meet him" , Amelia answered as if reading my mind..

" Whatever , not interested anyway, I better get to the class, I have a boyfriend waiting for me, see you at lunch girls!!", I said goodbye..

All my classes went by slowly, it was the time for lunch... I was headimg towards canteen still the gossip of that new boy was on...

I was sitting on my usual table with my friends, thinking about my surprise when

Amelia said " Guys we have to cancel our plan today , I have to go somewhere, we can catchup tomorrow!!''

Emily take a bite for her pasta and said " Sure ms. Shopping can wait, rolling her eyes".

" But... Georgia was going to say something but i cut her off" Okay guys stop it ..

"I want to tell you something", I muttured

"They said what at same time"

My mom told me yesterday that she has a surprise for me which i'll get later this day"..

There faces glow immediately, what is that a new car, party, a new mobile ,------- , they were discussing what i can get...

" I ain't have an idea , but she said you will like it and i have to wait." I signed sadly..

"Ohh, but you have to inform us , about it later, Emily said,I nodded at her....

Lunch went quickly, with we discussing and chatting about random topics....

I was heading to my class, when someone wrapped their arms around my waist and pulled me closed and i look into his eyes...

I knew who it was, " Connor, you scared the hell out of me"...

He turned me to him , he grinned down at me as he kept one arm wrapped around my waist and the other came up to cup my cheek.

" I missed you so much babe," He said keeping his voice low.

We ain't getting enough time to spend with each other...

He suddenly leaned down and meet my lips with his..

This kiss felt different for some reason, it was definitely not the kiss we usually did, there was something wrong ..., his tongue barely teased mine , he kept his hand up to my face as his thumb caressed over my cheek....

I breathed in the air, I really just needed a few minutes to relax, I could smell the strong musk smell coming from Connor, but I smelled a hint of familiar amber and orange, before it disappeared, I have no idea where I smelled that but it was very familiar...

A hand shook me out of my trance , "babe I know I am very hot, but you dont need to zoned out every time because of that."

I rolled my eyes to that, he again wrapped myself in his arms...

" Hey you two f*****g move out of my way"

A raspy voice came from behind me and I felt all the hair on tha back of my neck stand straight up and it gives me sexy chills..

We turned around to see an annoyed looking boy with piercing blue eyes and similar- familiar scent of amber and orange, he looked very attractive, his voice was so masculine, his perfect jawline with those gorgeous lips, and the way they fill out that black shirt very well. The fine curve of his abs can be seen through it...

Then my inner voice interupted me...

" Stop oozing a random guy , you have a boyfriend standing next to you".

Ohhh, shut up you have to interupt me right now...

" If you done checking me out, then move" He blurted out...

"There is enough space for you to go, Connor said harshly annoyed by his tone"...

My brain wasn't functioning. No words were coming out and I was frozen to my spot, I was staring at his piercing blue eyes, recollecting thoughts where i saw them...

His eyes traveled to my eyes, doing same as mine , as if he was also recalling the same...

" Hey Blake," Victoria acknowledge him being all flirtatious and seductive, she was wearing undoutedly she was a very revealing and bold dress....

So his name is blake, a self realisation crossed my mind , wait what blake , it shall not be him...

What?! I finally had the courage to speak and those were the words that came out?!

" Blake? Cookie is that you? ". I asked stupidly..

Everyone around , eyed me suspiciously, and blake has shocked and surprised emotions in that , which was completely replaced by his blank look....

I saw how he was checking me out..., he stuck his hand out to say something...

"Hey Krystal, how are you, nice to see you after all these years" He mumbled annoyed...

My mouth fell , standing infront of me was My best friend and first love ,Blake Evans, , but not the one I met years ago , he wasn't my cookie , I used to love , he was changed with a person i dont recognized...

" Being so formal, Are we?" I asked...

" I want to make something very clear to you, I don't want you to be so hopeful because I not the same person anymore and stay away from me". He tells me with no emotion in his voice..

" Now get the f*****g hell out of my way". He blurted out walking away with Victoria glaring at me, walking in the same direction he went...

I was so confused , no words were coming out of my mouth , I was froze, it seems like blood has stopped running in my body, tear's were a step behind to rush out of my eyes, what happen to my best friend why he is behaving like this....

"Are you okay , Babe "? .what happened to you , who is that guy?. Connor wrapped his arm around my waist concerned.

" I am okay, just shocked, Can you please give me some time alone" I said...

" Are you sure, I can stay and make you happy" He asked...

" No it will be fine , you can go to your class, bell rang signalling end of this lecture, dont miss other lecture also."...

He nodded, pecking my cheeks he left...

Then suddenly,

His words come rushing to my mind

:-This is my promise to you we will meet again.

This reunion was not meant to be like this cookie , why are you behaving like this to me , I will find out what happened to you, this is my another promise to you , i will get my best friend back...
