I want to know,” Queen Eden said and sauntered to her seat. “We had visited the Lord of the Water to help us out, but it had turned out into futility. So, I have doubted the potency of the Lord of the Water since then,” King Rehoboth said. Queen Eden sat down and said, “My king, I think I can trust your words. It's obvious that the Lord of the Water can’t save us.” “I am happy you understand my words. As for the queen and her daughter, they will come around, someday,” King Rehoboth said. “They had better do it. I need companions,” queen Eden said. “Don’t you like my companionship again?” King Rehoboth said and gazed at queen Eden’s face. “Yes, I do. Who doesn’t like the companionship of a monarch?” queen Eden said and the twosome laughed. “I am happy you are a bit relieved now; I would love you to go into the kitchen now and prepare the meal,” King Rehoboth said. “I guess the chiefs will not come, because they could be gluttonous?” queen Eden said. “Why should you describe my chiefs in that way? Well, they won’t; our meeting has been adjourned,” King Rehoboth said. “Alright, my king. Before I leave, my king, do something about what I told you,” queen Eden said and stood up. “Alright, my queen,” King Rehoboth said with a smile. “Alright…,” queen Eden said and sauntered away. “What sort of a woman is this?” King Rehoboth muttered. He clutched his office staff and sauntered towards his bed chamber. Professor MacPherson drove his car to Mason’s house. He parked the car and said, “We are home…” “Yes we are! Thanks for the ride,” Mason said. “You are welcome. I told you earlier that I had an appointment with someone,” professor MacPherson said. “Yes; are you going now?” Mason said. “I need to go there now before it gets late,” professor MacPherson said. “Alright, sir; I will be expecting you in the evening,” Mason said. “Alright…,” professor MacPherson said. Mason clutched his briefcase and alighted from the car. Professor MacPherson started the car and drove away. Mason walked towards the pithead and knocked. “Hold on.., I am coming!” Evelyn said. She sauntered towards the pithead and opened the door. “Welcome, professor Mason,” Evelyn said and collected Mason’s briefcase. “Thank you, Evelyn; when will you stop being sarcastic?” Mason said as the duo sauntered towards the sitting room. “I am not sarcastic, just sit down while I get you a cupful of cold water,” Evelyn said and dropped the briefcase on the table. “Alright, I am thirsty,” Mason said and sat down on one of the couches. Evelyn walked towards the refrigerator, she removed a bottle from the refrigerator, emptied a little of its contents into a cup and returned the bottle back to the refrigerator. She sauntered towards Mason’s direction, clutching the cup. “Here is the water,” Evelyn said. “Thank you,” Mason said as he collected the cup from Evelyn. He sipped a little water and said, “Where is Landon?” “The lad complained of a headache after taking his lunch, so he is taking a nap in his room,” Evelyn said and sat down beside Mason on the couch. “Alright, I pray he recover," Mason said and took a sip. “I guess professor had gone home?” Evelyn said as she glimpsed at Mason’s face. “He has an appointment, so he just dropped me and drove off,” Mason said. “Alright. The table is set and I have painstakingly waited for you to come home; can we go and eat now?” Evelyn said. “Sure!” Mason said. He emptied his cup and stood up from the couch. Evelyn stood up from the couch and collected the cup from Mason. “I will join you in the dining room.” Evelyn said. “Alright, Evelyn…,” Mason said and sauntered away. Evelyn moved closer to the table and clutched the briefcase with her right hand. She walked towards the refrigerator, kept the cup inside the refrigerator and sauntered away, still clutching the briefcase. At exactly 5:08 pm, Professor MacPherson parked his car in front of Charles' house. He dropped his briefcase and alighted from the car. He walked towards the pithead and knocked on the door. “Who is at home?” professor MacPherson said. “Hold on, I am coming!” Peyton said. She had been sipping a cupful of water and gazing at the television simultaneously. She dropped the cup on the table and sauntered towards the pithead. “Hi, Peyton!” professor MacPherson said as Peyton opened the door. “It’s been a while; Good evening, sir,” Peyton said. Professor MacPherson smiled and said, “Good evening, Peyton; how are you?” “I am not bad. Please come inside,” Peyton said with a gesture. “Alright; thank you,” professor MacPherson said. The twosome sauntered into the sitting room and sat on different couches. “Should I get you a cupful of cold water? Or perhaps, a drink?” Peyton said as she gazed at professor MacPherson’s face. “Never mind; I am okay. I have an appointment with Charles. Where is he?” professor MacPherson said. “I came in not quite long ago, and I haven’t seen him. Hold on. Margaret! Margaret!!” Peyton said. “Yes, aunt!!” Margaret answered from the kitchen. She kept the knife and ran out of the kitchen. “Good evening, sir,” Margaret said when she got to the sitting room. “Good evening, Margaret; and how are you?” Professor MacPherson said. “Well, I am fine. Aunt, you summoned my presence?” Margaret said.
