King Rehoboth and his first wife, queen Mackenzie, walked to the inner chamber. They were in their regalia.

“My king, will Adalyn not go back to her house again?” queen Mackenzie said jealously.

“Of course! She will, once her husband and others’ remains have been interred,” King Rehoboth said.

“Don’t tell me that, King Rehoboth!! She must leave this palace now!!” Queen Mackenzie said.

“Are you upset?” King Rehoboth said.

“Don’t ask me that question, King Rehoboth. Everyone can see how you've been carried away by her beauty,” queen Mackenzie said and stood up.

“That’s slanderous!! I will not take that!! Get out!!” King Rehoboth said.

“I am going nowhere!! We will stay in the inner chamber together!!” queen Mackenzie said.

“Don’t try me!! Get out!!” King Rehoboth said.

“What’s going on?!” Queen Caroline said as she walked to the inner chamber.

“Get out now!!” King Rehoboth said.

“Calm down! My king! Queen Mackenzie, you are standing, what happened?” queen Caroline said.

“Ask your husband!!” Queen Mackenzie said and walked away.

“Calm down, my king; what has she done this time around?” Queen Caroline said.

“The w***e said I am trailing on Adalyn’s beauty,” king Rehoboth said.

“What?! That’s stereotyped!! How could she say such?” Queen Caroline said.

“She turned me into the harlot and adulterer she is,” King Rehoboth said.

“I am sorry on her behalf, my king. Please find a place in your subtle heart to forgive us,” queen Caroline said and knelt down.

“Stand up, my beloved wife; I have forgotten her,” King Rehoboth said.

“Thank you, my king,” queen Caroline said and sat down.

“Greetings to my monarchs,” Adalyn said.

“May your days be fruitful!” King Rehoboth said.

“What Adalyn?” queen Caroline said.

“I want to go home now,” Adalyn said.

“What?!” queen Caroline said.

“Why?!” King Rehoboth said.

“My king, I could clearly hear what the first queen said. I want to go so that I will not shatter your peaceful home,” Adalyn said with a teary voice.

“You don’t have to go now,” queen Caroline said and touched Adalyn’s back.

“Adalyn, I didn’t say your presence would shatter my home. Forget about everything you eavesdropped on,” King Rehoboth said.

“I am sorry, my king, I remain on my word. Let me go and start a new life,” Adalyn said.

“You can stay for now, Adalyn. You can possibly go back home after your husband’s remains have been interred,” queen Caroline said.

“I am sorry, my queen, I will disobey you,” Adalyn said.

“My king, I think we should allow her to go. At least she can start a new life,” queen Caroline said.

“Adalyn, I want you to know that I didn’t chase you away from the palace; you left the palace voluntarily,” King Rehoboth said.

“You and the queens have really tried for me these few days. You treated me like the youngest queen. I am grateful, my king,” Adalyn said.

“You deserve to be well treated. I am coming,” the king said and walked away.

“Adalyn, I will miss you,” queen Caroline said and hugged Adalyn.

“I will miss you too, my good-hearted queen,” Adalyn said.

“Take this 3, 000 USD; with this you can start a new life,” King Rehoboth said.

“All this for me?! I am grateful, my king,” Adalyn said as she collected the money.

“As for professor MacPherson, I will make sure I teach him some lessons,” King Rehoboth said.

“Charlotte is going nowhere until her husband shows up!” queen Caroline said.

“I have found favor this day,” Adalyn said with joy.

“You are favored!” king Rehoboth and queen Caroline chorused.

“Cameron!! Cameron!!” king Rehoboth said.

“My king, you summoned my presence,” Cameron said.

“Yes, I did. Tell Gavin to take Adalyn back home,” King Rehoboth said.

“Alright, my king,” Cameron said.

“Goodbye king, goodbye queen,” Adalyn said.
