Kaelen’s POV It was two in the morning, and I was pacing the floor of my private study like a caged animal. My skin felt like it was really on fire, a constant, annoying heat that started behind my neck and spread all the way down to my fingertips. I tugged at the collar of my shirt, ripping open the top two buttons just to get some air, but it didn't help. The air inside the room wasn't the problem.
