POV: Chloe Lopez The girl looked between us, made a sound like whatever, and walked away. The music from the stage thumped on. Around us, people talked and laughed and completely failed to notice that I had just done the most impulsive thing I'd done in my seventeen years on this earth. Liam looked at me.
