"Aleesha.. what are you doing? Arman is waiting for you" Aleesha's mother shouted raising her head upstairs as if to peep directly into Aleesha's room while I sat silently on the sofa waiting for my princess to come down. She always makes me wait while getting ready but I never complain to her for that. I know she takes time to get ready and I love waiting for her. But today she was taking longer than usual maybe because I gave her a very short notice before coming or maybe because she is upset. She was so excited about attending Zara's wedding with me but my sudden change of plan left her helpless. I have to leave tomorrow for my urgent meeting which can't be delayed. The clients have urged to fix the meeting at their place and if it was not about my dad's dream project I would have canceled it. But I am left with no other options and even Aleesha understands. She is upset but she is not complaining and that is why I am here to make her feel good. I can't see my girl upset over anything. She is my world. She has given me her enormous love and support throughout. She has been my backbone since the day I lost my father. She stood by me in every odds. And now I know that living without her is impossible for me. She is my reason to live and laugh. " Come on son have this poha, I have cooked it especially for you because I know it's your favorite." Aleesha's mom said passing the plate of poha towards me." Aleesha's mom is even sweeter than her and I can clearly guess why her daughter is such an amazing person. I and her mom were chit-chatting when I saw Aleesha coming down. She looked ravishing. She had worn a red kurti with black leggings and black dupatta with a small black Bindi between her brows and silver oxidized jhumkas altogether making her look gorgeous. She kept her waist-length hair open for me because she knows how much I love that. She wore that red-black combination just for me to feel happy. Nobody knows me better than her. I got up and gave her a big smile. She was looking so beautiful that I felt like hugging her instantly. She had no makeup on except that deep black kohl in her brown eyes but still could make any guy go crazy over her. She is exceptionally beautiful. How can I be so lucky to have this beautiful angel in my life? She came down smiling at me and stood right in front of me. "Shall we leave?" she asked. "Yes, let's go" I replied smiling at her. " Be back on time Aleesha, Arman has to leave tomorrow's early morning for his meeting" Aleesha's mom interrupted. " Don't worry mom I'll drop her back on time and I'll also get you your favorite biriyani from there," I replied to Aleesha's mom. She smiled back at me and then I and Aleesha left. We came out and I opened the car door for her, she sat in and we drove towards the city mall.
While driving I slightly moved my hand to reach Aleesha's. I held her hand with a light grip and she smiled back at me . I knew she was upset but was still smiling for me."You are so beautiful." I said breaking the silence. " Its ok baby you don't need to compliment me to enlighten up my mood. I know you are helpless and I am totally fine by that baby, I am not upset on you. But its just that I don't wanna go there without you. " she replied back. "But baby think about Zara also. You are her only friend and dont you think it will break her heart to know that you are not going. I promise i will try my best to come back on her wedding day but atleast for now you cheer up your mood and lets go and shop some pretty partywears for you." I said holding her hand even tightly. She nodded back. After some time we reached the city the mall. I dropped Aleesha on the main entrance and asked her to reach the Ethnic Store while I went down to the parking area.
