Aspen POV
We continued walking down the dimly lit archways. By now, I had literally stretched the f**k out of my eyes in order to be aware of my surroundings whilst he on the other hand has no problem doing so at all. Although I was no stranger in this huge castle, this place felt completely new to me.
“Okay, where are we heading..” his deep and raspy voice cut me off before I could even finish my sentence. It was as if he had been anticipating the question.
“My office, curious little cat or where did you think I was taking you?” He responded to my question and yet skillfully managed to return it with another question.
“Nowhere Vincent. I was just asking so that we do not move too far from the ball.” I immediately responded.
