“That will be the end of our introductions,” she said and I finally breathed a great sigh of relief. Heavens knows that my breath was literally hitched in my throat the whole time she was speaking.
“Thank you for the introduction Princess Miranda, I am so pleased to be here,” I responded loud enough for literally everyone who was in the room to hear. However my response was welcomed with an uncomfortable silence. I almost regretted responding to her when her soft but firm tone filled my ears.
