Liqa sat on the couch in her office, and Arwa stood beside her, tense, her eyes filled with confusion and fear. In front of them was a large desk, and on the side of it was a small sign bearing Liqa’s name, President of the Human Rights Foundation, a symbol of authority and reassurance at the same time. Liqa raised her head and looked at Arwa with eyes full of caution, then said in a calm but firm voice, “You need to see the doctor, Arwa. Sit over there for a while, and then come with me here right away… Do you agree?” Arwa didn’t answer, she just shook her head left and right, as if her body reflected the conflict raging inside her. The signs were clear on her face and in her movements: psychological turmoil that accompanied her every moment, and the old refrain that never left her. Liqa' sat on the couch in her spacious office, next to her was Arwa, looking pale and exhausted, her eyes sunken and her body moving unconsciously, as if mental illness had taken over her soul. In front of them was the large desk in the middle of the room, topped by a small sign with Liqa's name written on it, and next to it her title: *President of the Human Rights Foundation*. Liqa' looked at Arwa with compassion and tenderness and said in a calm voice that held a hint of firmness, "You need to see a doctor, Arwa... Stay over there for a while, and then come spend the night with me here right away... Do you agree?" But Arwa didn't say a word, she just shook her head left and right, a gesture that was repeated over and over until it seemed as if it had become an inseparable refrain, a clear sign of her deep suffering. Leqaa sat at the desk, the place filled with a calm silence, while Arwa sat on the chair opposite, her eyes swinging between tension and fear. Leqaa raised her head and looked at her tenderly: “How are you doing now, Arwa?” Arwa smiled a small smile, then said in a low voice: “Nice…” But her words did not alleviate the constant shaking of her head left and right, a movement that seemed to be a permanent habit for her after the harsh circumstances she had been through, which had accompanied her throughout her life. Leqaa sighed a little and said: “I will take you to a quiet and really nice place, I hope you like it. They are all elderly women there… My mother died, and when I want to feel that I have a mother, I go there and find that they are all my mothers.” Then she added in a tender tone: “Arwa, can you tell me your story before we go down? If that wouldn’t bother you…” Arwa closed her eyes for a moment, then whispered: “My story… I don’t remember anything at all. All I know in the world is you and you alone.” Unable to hold back her tears, Laqa' stood up, walked over to Arwa, and kissed her on the head. Arwa stood up and hugged her tightly. Her feelings were delicate and transparent, resembling the innocence and kindness of children. Laqa' smiled and said, preparing to leave: "Come on, let's go now." Leqa' stopped her car in front of the gate of a small villa. She honked the horn briefly, and the doorman opened the gate with a slight smile. She got in the car and headed towards the villa, where it stopped in front of the main door. She looked at Arwa with eyes that were both compassionate and firm. "Get out, Arwa." Arwa opened the car door slowly and got out, her eyes looking right and left, observing the new place with caution and curiosity. Leqa' followed her as she got out of the car, and then they walked together with calm steps until they reached the door of the villa. Leqa' pressed the bell button, and Tharaa, one of the caregivers at the women's nursing home, opened the door with a warm smile. "Hello, Mrs. Leqaa." Leqa' smiled and returned the greeting: "How are you, Tharaa?" Leqa' and Arwa went inside, but Arwa paused for a moment in front of the door, as if she was still adjusting to the place. Leqa' turned behind her and said in a reassuring tone: "Come in, Arwa." Arwa smiled slightly and took her steps inside the villa, followed carefully by Leqaa.
