Chapter 16 Olivia
Time passes, as it always does. Because I enjoyed translating the gay romance so much, I’ve decided to take on another romance. This time around, though, it’s about two women falling in love. I’ve spent the better part of the past week getting absorbed in the story of Andrea and Imogen slowly realising they’re in love with each other.
Not being the biggest believer in love, I usually stay well away from romance novels, especially ones involving two women. But this one has me so utterly engrossed, it makes me question my own beliefs at times, usually late at night. In the morning, it’s easy enough to remember that I’m reading a piece of fiction that doesn’t have much grounding in reality. For evidence of that, I just need to look in the mirror.
