For the past two weeks, Olivia has no longer been the stranger she once was. To my utter surprise and delight, I’ve seen her almost every day. I’m even allowed to turn up at her doorstep without texting beforehand these days. Sometimes, when I look at her, I feel like I’m looking at a different person.
“When were you last in Paris?” I shoot her a quick glance across the car.
“Years ago, with Sandrine. There was a place we used to go to every year for our anniversary.”
