Chapter 6 Olivia The cats barely flick up an ear when my phone rings. Huppert is purring on my belly. Deneuve is pressed against my side as I watch TV. It’s after nine in the evening. I check the screen to see if it’s one of my family. They know only to call this late if it’s an emergency. It’s an unknown number so I happily press the red button to decline the call.
