Harlows POV
I wake up to the sound of beeping. As my eyes open, I see that I am in a hospital gown, and have needles and tubes in my arms. I look up, and see a tall blonde girl, with light green eyes, And beside her is a identical guy, blonde hair and light green eyes.
"Oh! You're up, great! Let me explain some things." The blonde guy says. I nod, nervously. An explanation would be nice. "We'll start with introductions, we'll introduce ourselves, then hopefully you can." He adds. The blonde girl comes and sits by my feet. "My name is Peach," the girl, Peach, says. I nod. I turn to the guy. "And I'm Beckett, but my nick name is Beck." The boy, Beck, says. I nod again. They look at me expectantly. I sigh, I guess I'm doing this.
"I am, Harlow," I say shyly. They smile, Beck grabs a paper, and writes something on it. "Ok, now I'll expain, what is gonna happen," Peach says. The beeping speeds up slightly. I gulp, and nod. She grabs my hand and hods it, "Just remember, that we want to keep you safe." She says. I half smile. "So, Beck, 2 selected guards, and I are going to be watching, and taking care of you. We are bringing you into the pack, the alpha is currently away, but when he returns, he'll allow you to join the pack, he just can't do it from Austrailia, while he's away you will be staying in the pack house, you will get your own room, closet and restroom. Once the alpha gets back, and allows you into the pack, we'll find you your own home. During your first months in the pack, or however long neede, at least one of us will be with you at all times. We have seen all the scars, bruises, and injuries. So we need to make sure that you are safe from your attacker, because with the scars and marks you have on your body, you should've been dead, but luckily your not, and you will be discharged and taken to the pack house with us in three days." Peach says, smiling. My mouth is hanging wide open, why would they want to help me? They don't even know me. Why are they being so kind? I feel my eyes start to water, my lip start to shake, and before I know it, I'm full on balling, crying. This is so emberassing, but I can't help it.
Beck hands me a tissue box. "Thanks, I'm -gasp- so- gasp- rry - f-for cry- gasp- ing you g- gasp- uys are j-just b-being s-s-so k-kind t-to me." I manage to say. I take a tissue, and wipe my face. "It's ok, we understand, but soon, the two guards I mentioned earlier will be coming over, I already gave them your name, so dont be suprised if they know your name, but for now, just tell us if you need, or want anything." Beck replied. I nod. Now that he said that, I do kind of need to use the restroom.
I scratch the back of my neck nervously. "I kind of need to, um use the restroom." I say. Peach turns to me, "I'll help you with that," she says. She comes over to my arm, and takes out the needles, and tubes, "This should be fine, since your awake you won't need a liquid diet." she mumbles. She helps pull me up by the hand, and makes sure I can stand on my own before letting go. "Thank you," I say. She nods, "No prob, follow me it's right here," she says. She takes me to the door on the left side of the bed, opens it, and its the bathroom, a big one. I walk in and right infront of me is a mirror, I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and quickly look at the floor.
I raise my eyes slightly but dont look at the mirror. "Uh, I'll give you your privacy," Peach says, before walking out and closing the door.
I use the restroom, wash my hands, all while avoiding looking at the mirror. I walk out, and make my way back to the bed. I sit on it, and fiddle with my fingers, what am I supposed to do now? The door swings open, and in the door way is a tall girl with honey brown hair and green eyes. Beside her is a very dark brown wolf. They walk i, shutting the door behind them. "You must be Harlow!" The girl says. I smile, "That I am." I reply. She walks over to me and gives me a hug.
"I've heard so much! My name is, Sean, by the way, great to meet'cha." she says. I laugh, she seems so kind. "Nice to meet you too!" I say. She lets go of me and signals to the wolf, "His name is, Antonio," she adds. I nod. He walks towards us, looking longingly at the bed, I laugh, "You can lay on the bed," I say. He makes a wolfy grin, and gently get on the bed by my feet. I yawn. "Hun, get some rest, tommrow we can figure out something to do, k?" Peach says. I yamn again, reiciving a laugh from Peach and Sean. I nod, "Sounds good," I say, before closing my eyes and going to sleep shortly after.
*******************
"Wake up, Harlie," a female voice says. I groan, but open my eyes, to see a grinning Sean. "Morning Ladybug," Sean says. I smile, sittig up, but the others arent here. "Morning, uh where is everyone else?" I ask. She sits on the couch, crossing her legs, "They're out, getting breakfast, but they just left recently, any suggestions? I can always text them." She replies. I smile, "Maybe like, an omelet?" I ask. She licks her lips, "Your right, that sounds so good! I'll text them right now,"She replies. She grabs her phone, and start typing fastly. "Ok, they said that they'll be here soon, wanna watch something? We have Hulu, Disney plus, and Netflix." She says. I smile, clapping, "I never got to watch tv, but I'd love to, you can pick it though," I say. I am so excited, because I have never been able to. She gasps, "You have got to be kidding!" She says, before getting up grabbing the remote and turning on the tv. "Your watching riverdale! It is a must." I laugh shrugging, she puts on riverdale.
Just as Cheryl gets to their lunch table the door opens, and the smell of omelets engulfs the room, making me inhale. "Who wants food?" Peach yells. I smile raising my hand. She walks over and hand me a container, "One for Harlow," she says, before walking to Sean, giving her a container, "And one for Sean," she adds. She grabs another out the bag opening it, putting it on the floor, "One for Antonio," she adds, grabbing another, "And one for me!" She finishes. Causing me to laugh, "What about Becks?" Sean says. I turn to look at Beck, who is eating his omelets like a beast. I giggle, "I think he already got his," I say.
