Chapter 1: Keilee Everleigh Huxley Saxon

502 Words
Keilee's P.O.V I am currently on one of my three jobs. Wanna know why? Well.... It all started when my mom, Chantria Huxley-Saxon left this world for delivering my twin siblings namely Phoebe Laini and Pharrell Luna. Speaking of the twins, they are on their third grade so I do not worry that much to them as they can handle themself but I always see to it to guide and help them if they need one. As the eldest I am, I'm responsible- well, I feel that I should be responsible to them. I played the motherly duties to them and unfortunately the fatherly duties also. Wondering why? Well... Our father, Waylon Declan Saxon became the typical alcoholic father after losing his wife. And that's the reason why I need to work 3 times to feed my family. I am still studying (although I want to give-up and work full-time) because mom said that "Whatever happen promise me that you will finish studying, ok?" and since I agreed, I need to fulfill that promise. I am currently on my final grade in high school and I'm kinda proud that I made this far. "Keilee? Hello?" someone called that made me stop thinking about my life. "Yes Yara?" I asked to one of my co-workers that became my friend. "I'd been calling you for a couple of times now. Are you alright?" "Yeah I'm fine. Why? Is there any problem?" I worrily asked. "I'm kinda exhausted. Uhm.. can you please send this to table 1? I kinda need some break-" Keilee cut her friend before she even finish talking. "Yah yah.. It's fine. Take a break and breath ok? You can sit here in my place for a moment while I deliver this ok?" I said and quickly make my way to table 1. I heard a faint "Thanks!" from her then I replied with a simple nod although I know she won't see me. I made my way to a noisy group of people that became awfully silent when they spotted me. "Hello everyone here are your orders!" I said with a smile while carefully placing their orders on their table. "Enjoy!" I said with a wide smile. As I was about to go to Yara-my friend, one of them called my attention. "Do you have any trouble with your order sir?" I carefully ask. "No. It's not about our order." the dark haired guy said. "Then may I know what is it sir?" I patiently asked. "May I know your name miss?" he asked again. I frowned. Why the hell would he want to know that? I quickly gave my brightest smile and pretend that I never questioned his intentions. "I am Keilee sir," I said and pointed at my name tag that says 'Keilee' on it. "If you need anything else please don't hesitate to call one of us" I said and smiled once again before returning to Yara. I heard muffle sounds from the group before arriving to Yara.
