Daniel couldn't help but stare blankly for a moment before snapping back to reality. He stood up and walked toward the kitchen. Hearing his footsteps, Mandy turned around and greeted him with a radiant smile as vibrant as blooming roses, instantly lighting up the entire kitchen.
"Morning! Breakfast is almost ready," Mandy said in a soft, melodious voice.
Daniel walked up behind her, gently wrapped his arms around her waist, and whispered in her ear, "Thank you, honey."
Mandy playfully slapped his hand. "Stop it! Go wash up."
