Daniel scoffed. "What good does it do to say this now? He's gone. It's over."
Tears filled Natalie's eyes. "It's your fault," she hissed, "your cowardice and incompetence led to his death, and I'll never forgive you!"
Daniel's eyes blazed with anger. "So what are you going to do?"
Natalie trembled as she yelled, "I'll make you pay!"
Daniel sneered. "You? Do you think you can?"
Natalie took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. "Daniel, we'll see. One day, you'll regret this."
