Sophia
I slowly open my eyes as the sun beams in our room, and I try to pull the covers up to block the light. But as I do, Ax moves slightly, and he pulls me close to him. He wakes up so much earlier than I do, and all I can think about is sleeping in.
Until he kisses me, that is. Butterflies grow in my stomach as I lean into his kiss, loving that I get to wake up like this every single day.
“I had a great time last night. How are you feeling?” I kiss him back, assessing my surroundings. I don’t really remember coming to bed last night. Shoot, I hope the house isn’t destroyed. I wonder what time the party went to last night?
“Better than I thought I would. I was kind of drunk.”
“Me too.”
He presses his lips to me, and pleasure rips through my body as he pushes me back and gets on top of me. It’s unexpected but very welcome this early in the morning.
I kiss him back, holding on to his strong shoulders, running my fingers over his back. His erection starts to grow, pushing against me at the same time his tongue invades my mouth.
His hands trail down my body, finding their way between my legs. I move slightly, giving him room to press his fingers against me. I gasp in his mouth as he starts circling my clit, adding pressure with each of my moans.
He pulls his face away, staring down at me, looking for my reaction as he slips a finger inside of me. I moan deeply at the sensation, unable to hold it back as he adds another, his fingers dragging against my sensitive nerve endings. The pleasure pools inside of me as he continues to go faster.
I grip his strong arms, moaning louder as he continues to make every single right move. He presses a kiss against my lips, and when he pulls away, all I can think about is how I want so much more than just this.
“I… I’m ready, Ax.”
I can see the excitement on his face, and it perfectly matches mine. His face lights up as he removes his fingers from inside of me. His eyes meet mine, studying me, trying to see if I’m being honest.
Goddess, yes, I am being so honest right now. All I can think about is him inside of me.
“Are you sure?” He asks, and I nod, the smile on my face growing when I see the desire flash in his eyes. My body is aching, and the only thing I can think to stop it is him.
“We can stop anytime, okay?” I nod again, watching him reach down and grab his erection, putting it directly at my entrance. I already know I’m ready for him. His little foreplay is more than enough for me to be ready.
He pushes in slightly, and I go stiff at the fulfilling sensation. My breath quickens as he slowly pushes in deeper, going only an inch at a time before pulling out slightly, working in and out so gently.
“Maxson,” I whisper when he’s finally fully seated, and I can feel him twitching inside of me as he lets me get used to the size. It doesn’t hurt as bad as I thought it was going to. It just feels amazing with him. Like we were built to fit together. I guess, in a way, we really were built for one another.
He pulls out slightly, then pushes back in again, moving at a slow pace as his breath escapes him in low moans. Pleasure pools in my center as he quickens his pace, his eyes locked on mine as I arch my back, throwing my head into my pillow as I squeeze my eyes shut, the moans getting quicker and louder.
“s**t, Sophia, you feel so amazing, I don’t think I can last much longer.”
I look back at him, watching as he bites his lip, the pleasure growing inside of me until a loud, high-pitched scream releases from my lips. I grip the sheets so tightly as he pushes inside me deeper, one last time. I’m panting as he twitches inside of me, and I can feel every nerve ending screaming in pleasure.
He stays there on top of me for a moment, our eyes locked onto each other as a smile plays on his lips. He gives me a kiss, and I can feel my body settling down as I start to giggle.
“What’s so funny?” He asks as he tilts his head, looking a little nervous.
“That was a lot of fun.” I smile at him and he laughs loudly, slowly moving out of me to lay next to me on the bed. I scoot closer to him, my body still thrumming with pleasure after being with him. I rest my head on his chest, and he pulls me closer to him. “You’re still going to take me on a date, right?” I ask as he laughs deeply, my head bouncing as his chest moves.
“Of course I am.”
He kisses the top of my head, and I just want to stay like this forever.

“You two look all dressed up. Where are you off to?” Rina asks as we come down the stairs. Ax is in some khaki pants and simple polo, while I’m wearing a matching blue summer dress.
“Taking Sophia out on a date.” Rina fakes a gag as she waves us off. I’m a little surprised the house is immaculate when we got down here for breakfast. The servants must have been up all night cleaning.
I can’t help feeling bad for them. Until Ax reminds me that they’re paid very well for doing so.
I see a car waiting for us when we step outside, and my stomach drops. I was kind of hoping we could fly there. It seems like Auriel and Avian have been cooped up since we’ve been here. I just want to spread my wings and explore the skies. However, Alpha Marina did tell us it’s not as common to fly all over the world as it is at home.
So, instead of dwelling on it, I smile at Ax as he walks and opens the car door for me. I watch the window outside as we start pulling away, and my stomach drops when I see a cloaked figure down the street. I wipe my eyes, but when I reopen them, there’s nothing there. Must be my imagination.
We finally pull up to a huge restaurant called Oasis, and I’m surprised when we walk in and there’s an entire wall that’s a waterfall. I run over to it, taking a deep breath. It smells like rainwater, and when I look down, I see all the coins at the bottom.
“Do you have a quarter?” I ask Ax, and he smiles as he digs in his pockets, pulling out some loose change. I immediately grab one and look to the waterfall.
I wish I don’t completely embarrass myself, or worse, Ax at school this year.
I toss the coin in and see Ax do the same.
“What’d you wish for?” He asks me, and I give him a quick smile.
“I can’t tell you, or it won’t come true!”
He chuckles as he wraps his arm around me, and our name is called to go to our table. I’m so happy when I realize we have the open table right next to the waterfall. The noise is so calming and soothing. I really miss being near the ocean, like we were at home.
It makes me wonder if we did the right thing, coming all this way. But then again, if we stayed home and went to school there, we’d still be policed by our parents.
So, despite the feeling of being homesick, I’m glad we did this. I’m glad we get to be together and fully explore who we are. I reach over and grab Ax’s hand, smiling up at the man I get to call mine.
